Overall the stay was great. Getting to store our luggage before checkin was a nice plus. Outside the property was dirty and had a scammer, but I can’t blame the hotel for that.

This property is not a common hotel with front desk and others amenities. It definitely work for what i need that was a good bed, bathroom and A/C. Safe and close to a lot of restaurants. My room have canal view and it was clean and comfy. No staff present but you can text them for any questions or needs. They will text instructions and code for doors. If you follow the instructions there will not be any issue. I liked and i will recommend for a quick 2 o 3 days trip unless you preferred full service hotel, this will be great.

The room looked fine online but looks can be deceiving. The wall behind the bed is filthy don’t think it’s been washed in years. The shower grout lines are black in many areas, black mold? No drinking glasses not even in the common area. So don’t buy a bottle of wine unless you are ok with drinking it directly from the bottle! Location was fine as it is directly on the grand canal. No view from our window. We were in room 4. Mattress and pillows were hard as rock! Oh and many many stairs to navigate and some of the metal rods that hold the carpet are loose and in the middle of the step, we kept kicking them back so we didn’t trip on them. All in all stay away….stay far far away!

Great location!

Great rooom with all the needed amenities: extra towels, body wash, extra pillows, closet with hangers, safe box, blow dryer, towel warmer. Room/bathroom was very clean. Great location next to the main canal and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Would definitely recommend this place.

The location was good, The building in the picture is not the building, its the one across the river. There was no air condition and no stairs. Very difficult to carry bags up so many flights of stairs if you are partially handicap. There was no mention of it in the description of the building.

This was a lovely stay for our first time in Venice. We had a great view of the canal and the room was very spacious. The only challenge was walking up the stairs with our luggage since there is no elevator but other than that, it was very convenient location and beautiful place. Just an FYI, it is mentioned on the description that there in no staff on site. They were good about keeping contact via WhatsApp. Also, you cannot control the thermostat. Luckily it was cool enough at night to not need that ( for the hot bodies out there).

INCREDIBLE

INCREDIBLE! Contact with host was exceptional-- with entry codes, cupboards to store luggage before check in and after check out (our train departure was 18:18) to explore all day, hands free. The views from our room and the common area were magazine worthy. I have amazing photos, but the website won't load them. Sorry!

Breakfast was supposed to be included but no one showed up at the scheduled start time of 0800. We seem to have been the only guests, yet not even coffee and rolls were made available. Not having breakfast available, as advertised, was extremely disappointing.

This is a catfish property. I felt misled with my booking. It felt like a prison on the inside, concrete walls. It was not sanitary, I could tell that they did not properly clean the carpet since there was hair, lent and other particles in the floor (pictures attached) It is very difficult to find and we could not figure out how to adjust the thermostat. There was a door that was locked in our room with a strange sign on it.

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Venice. The staff was unresponsive, enough so that we needed to last minute find another hotel the night of. There is no front desk or staff on site, so there is never anybody to reach out to, especially if you are traveling on a weekend. I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Last resort... Look elsewhere.

Difficult to find. Poor organisation prior. Google address is not correct. Spent the morning frustrated that the place wasn't where listed. No signage on door. Weird layout. Our bedroom had a door leading to the shared living. Adamant others listened to us have a good night.. Revived 3 emails a day for a week prior. Was travelling from Australia without a phone, was incredibly annoying and frustrating.
