This is a quirky and beautiful building that makes you feel you are transported to Morocco . The pool area is small but lovely . The restaurant is excellent and we wish we had stayed one more night . The staff were all vertu smiley and professional as welll as very helpful
It’s quite a unique property. I had seen a video on how this hotel started and wanted to stay there. My room was beautiful. Huge balcony and there was a lovely pool. Breakfast is included and it is a la carte. You can mix and match and order what you want. It’s in a perfect location. The village is so lovely.
Our junior suite was amazing, opening out to a shared pool. But it actually felt like our very own private pool as other guests rarely used it. A gorgeous oasis.
The included breakfast was amazing and the wait staff were very friendly.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
Part of the Califa complex of hotels in the town with great character and Moroccan influence. This is the second time we have stayed there and we have thoroughly enjoyed our selves. The dinning is great for eating out under the stars and palm trees.
I loved staying here - the hotel is beautiful, the meals we had were excellent and Vejer is gorgeous. We didn´t go in the pool, but the pool terrace was lovely. The staff were pleasant. I love middle eatsern food and they did it really well.
However, I am able bodied and there is a snag with access. There is free parking available, but you then need to walk up a hill afterwards (pull up by recepcion and drop your bags before parking). The rooms and access to the pool and eating area are via stairs.
We had Rojo room which is a spacious suite with a generous terrace. Although rooms in the Las Palmeras del Califa annexe are more expensive than the main hotel, the swimming pool access is a huge bonus worth the extra cost. A lot of stairs as has been said before and the car park you can pay extra for is convenient, but only if your vehicle can get around a very tight corner to access the allocated spaces which are in the basement. We loved the art and furnishings and hearing about their history from Ellie. It is certainly a stylish boutique hotel in a very lovely town. We had 4 days to enjoy it. A car is essential to make the most of this area.
Beautiful room and splendid view from the balcony!
Very cozy hotel and marvellous interior design everywhere. Breakfast was served on a secluded terrace that we’ll dream back to in winter.
Pool was not big but deep so you could really chill down after sunbathing.
Super nice staff that also provided breakfast bags for the car ride as we had to check out early to go back to the airport.
Please notice that parking is scarce and Vejer is very hilly with a lot of stairs. But this also makes it so great - beautiful views 360.
