One of the best places I stayed in Laos

Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. The property is unique and relaxing with a nice pool and great breakfast to start the day. We stayed in two of the rooms. The first was a huge three bedroom house with an amazing view of the mountains from the top bedroom. For the last night we moved to the smaller one bedroom container which was also comfortable and clean with a small deck for relaxing in the evening. When I go back to Vang Vieng I will definitely stay here again.

A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi and Tulip. The Kong family is wonderful- hard working and honorable. We had a misunderstanding and they took the high road to make it right for their guests. A bit of a bargain imho. Highly recommended !

The resort is well created considering that the rooms are made out of modified shipping containers. However it is a great idea and we was feeling quite comfortable. Little less water pressure in the shower. The staff was very friendly and quite well English spoken. Very nice to experience.

Great design hotel

The storage containers are very well designed and the beds were comfortable. The location is slightly out of town wgich is good if you want somewhere you cannot hear the karaoke bars. There was no sound proofing so hope for quiet neighbours. The bar is nice but the lack of food served meant we used it only at breakfast time. It is sometimes difficult to find staff even when you ring the bell.

quirky to stay in a container, staff and site great, location great (free bridge before the road bridge) only downside is by 10.00 the side wall in the sun was so hot I feel the heat radiating inside as I walked beside the bed. However air con did cope with it, but it could so easily be avoided by a bit of canvas between the tops of the containers to shade it.

호텔도 너무 이쁘고 관리도 잘되어 있어서 깨끗하고 쾌적했습니다 조식도 유러피안 스타일로 개인접시에 따로 제공해줘서 좋았네요 한가지 아쉬운점은 시내에서 조금 떨어져서 좀 걸어들어와야 되고 유료다리를 통과해야 해서 불편했네요. 하지만 건기에는 간이다리가 있어서 무료로 다닐수 있긴 했어요 직원들도 모두 친절하고 좋았어요

Bra opphold!

Oppholdet var bra, rommet var fint og nytt. Det eneste som egentlig var å klage på var at rommene ble veldig varme etter en dag ute da de er laget av containere. A/C er heller ikke mulig å ha på mens man er ute for å holde det kjølig.

Good facilities and services

Everything was good except the location of maps, water supply and WiFi. Google Map and Hotel`s.com provide maps but they are not correct, even the directions. You should remember that Kong resort located across the bridge. Almost stuffs are very clean and nice. But water supply and WiFi are bad conditions.
