"It is located very close to the action , old building,sand stone wall, make it very unique. The only thing is the noise from the street, looks like it is next to a busy street, cars driving by never stop, the old building has no way to block the noise,The only time quiet will be from 12am to 5 am. If you don't mind the noise, this is a good unique place to stay"

"Apartment itself wasn't bad but the stairwell to get to the apartment had a few dead roaches lying around that weren't cleaned up until the 4th day of our stay. Also, there was a problem with water collecting at just upon entering the apartment of the floor which was a slip hazard. The water remained present throughout our stay. "It was a good stay just the check in was pretty rough as they sent me a link that was to the wrong address and the hotels.com website had it at a location around the corner. Apparently they have two properties next to each other. The wifi was terrible always cutting out which made it hard tk do work. Outside of those two thing it was a good stay. Good location and great views from the terrace. "

"I will start my review by saying that my family The location was great, the apartment it's self would have been great except for a number of major issues we had from the moment we arrived. Upon arrival I noticed that the Hot water tank that was in the main bathroom was leaking. I immediately contacted Malta Apartments Team and they sent a technician that didn't speak any hardly any english took a picture of the tank and was able tell us it will be fixed the next day. "We highly recommend staying here for a trip to Catania. Diego and his wife are charming, helpful and highly professional. The space is creative and everything you could think about needing has been anticipated. They provide an amazing, locally inspired breakfast! "Clean but no bed pad in the bed, only one bath towel and one hand towel, no kitchen towels or paper towels. Owner was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. This listing really needs clearer instructions on how to find the place. The arrival taxi dropped me off at the top of the hill and said “its down there on the left”. It was way over the hill and near the water …. Street signs fir the address are not readily seen and this was not fun on a very hot day !!"

"Spacious accommodation, nicely furnished, but it was grubby in the bathroom and kitchen, with mould in shower and on the door of the bathroom and around the kitchen sink. This could have easily have been rectified by good housekeeping. The staff at VBL were very friendly and helpful."

"Excellent breakfast (although the musak could be maddening). Always helpful staff. We enjoyed our Maltese balcony - once we had worked out how to prop the windows open. East to get to the centre although up a steep road. If you want flat, Valetta is not for you. Thoroughly enjoyable stay."
