Het hotel is super met een art deco interieur. Parkeren gratis van 19:00 tot 09:00 u. Enkel het nachtleven in de buurt was nogal luidruchtig. Het hotel ligt rechtover het station.

A very special hotel with a good location by the train station. Very quiet city and not ideal as a tourist as many restaurants are closed on Sundays.

Belle surprise

Très bien situé, en face de la gare, l'hôtel surprend agréablement par sa propreté. Bien équipé, bien isolé des bruits extérieurs, pourvu d'une bonne literie, il propose un petit déjeuner simplifié (café/croissant) à 3,50€ en alternative au petit déjeuner buffet très bien garni, mais plus cher.

Bekvämt,trevligt, liv på gatan utanför på natten

Bekvämt och rent. Ok frukost, saknade grönsaker i buffén. Det som drar ner är att mitt rum hade fönster mot en gata där det var väldigt mycket liv på natten. Fönstrens var inte jättebra ljudisolerade

Ok til overnatning på vejen.

Gammelt hotel. Der var nusset alle vegne, slidte gulvtæpper, bruseren duede ikke, badekaret/spaen var knækket i plastikken og dysserne var så beskidte, at vi ikke ønskede at bruge spa/badekarsfunktionen. Der var kun lagt håndklæder frem til 1 person, selvom vi var tre tilknyttede til værelset, toilettet var løst. Morgenmaden var kedelig. Servicen var god, de var søde og hjælpsomme og hjalp når vi har udfordringer med værelserne.

Central, but old, dirty, not safe

Old, dirty hotel. Staff isn't very friendly to anyone who isn't speaking French. Area which is in front of the Train Station isn't very safe either.

jamais le week-end...

Aucune remarque négative sur l'hôtel, mais une impossibilité de dormir dans la mesure où la place de la gare, où se trouve le grand hôtel, est un lieu de beuverie les week-ends, aux dires même du personnel de l'hôtel. hurlements, cris et invectives toute la nuit de samedi à dimanche, jusqu'à environ 5h... A éviter absolument le week-end.

Ok ophold

Service var tilfredsstillende. Værelse var rent, bortset fra toilettet - der var myrer på gulvet. På værelset var der en aircondition, men når man tændte for den, gav loftet sig og virkede nærmest til at falde ned. Så vi måtte slukke hurtigt for den, i skræk for at det faldt sammen. Samtidig var værelserne meget lytte, så man kunne hører ALT, og alt hvad der foregik på gaden. Ikke den bedste søvn man kunne få

ATTENTION ⚠️….

Quand on demande, au moment du retrait de la clef : « Bonjour, c’est bien une chambre avec un grand lit double et non pas deux lits jumeaux collés ? » Réponse : «Bien sûr Mossieur » Et bien non !!!! On sent bien les deux vieux matelas séparés… Mais également, ne JAMAIS ACCEPTER la chambre 121 le vendredi soir ou le samedi soir : CETTE CHAMBRE EST COLLÉE À UNE BOÎTE DE NUIT… Sympa l’attribution sachant que l’hôtel n’était pas plein…

Vieux Hôtel de Valenciennes

Hotel vetuste. Il n'a rien de "Grand". Je l'appellerai plutôt "Vieille Hôtel" Fenêtre cassé dans la chambre remplacée par une planche de bois. Le robinet de la salle de bain à coulé toute la nuit. La crasse en bas des parois de douche. Le calcaire. Équipement cassé. Un sur matelas mal enveloppé au point de se réveiller la nuit pour refaire son lit. Un petit déj à 10€ qu'avec des produits périmés ou utilisés plusieurs jours de suite œuf brouillés inmangeables (voir la tête du jambon Halal). Le service hygiène et santé devrait passer voir. .. Franchement très déçu, il vaut mieux réserver un autre hôtel pour ne pas être déçu. Heureusement que le Personnel fait de son mieux et est aux petits soins pour relever le niveau. Ce qui n'efface pas cette mauvaise expérience.
