I think it is good but quite expensive hotel

Room standard for 5* not exceptional and not bad either. Bed was not so good, too hard for me. Bed in Sheraton was better. Service friendly and excellent. But 6€ for a beer in the bar is way too expensive and Breakfast i was expecting more for 25€. And it was quite difficult to get 1h later check out even I am Gold expedia member. Car valet service is great in the middle of the city.

Good

A lovely hotel, the building is very beautiful. Very comfy bed, mattress excellent but for a five star hotel pillows could be better. Great shower, enough towels and toiletries and free mineral water and turn down chocolates. It’s in a nice part of town and easily walkable to the Centre/ sites. But it is on a busy road so make sure you have ear plugs. Spa was enjoyable and we also booked massages that were great (although pricey). This was our second stay in a Hospes hotel and we were a little disappointed as we had had such an amazing time in their Alicante hotel. We didn’t expect to only get one hour in the spa (in Alicante we could use it endlessly) and staff weren’t as friendly - we had to ask about our complimentary bottle of wine and remind them to take the €20 euros off our massages (this was all taken care of in Alicante). We also hadn’t booked breakfast and it wasn’t offered to us when we arrived (we would have changed our minds and had it in the hotel - as it was we decided to go out every day instead) We’d still try their other hotels though.

Everything was very comfortable. AC was fantastic during unseasonably hot weather. Only complaint was that doors to rooms closed very loudly so whenever someone left their room it made a lot of noise. Great location and we walked wherever we needed to. Hotel restaurant provided a nice dinner when we arrived the first night.

This is a great hotel ! Very peaceful and clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful ( particularly Jésus) . Good location. There are some renovations going on in the courtyard but they didn’t disturb us at all. The room layout is good.

This hotel is a total home run. We were leaving the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. On our way to Marbella. I needed an overnight stay. Who would've thought we would fall deeply in love with Valencia. This hotel has it all. It's adjacent to the park… It has a serviceable restaurant and a pleasant bar. The rooms are magnificent with a wonderful rainforest style shower and etc. The hotel staff are beyond pleasant… And we're willing to put up with my halting Spanish practicing since everyone speaks perfect English. They greeted us with a welcome drink in the courtyard and there's so many good restaurants just around the corner. If you want a reservation for diva do it in advance, but Mamma pasta was also spectacular and not terribly expensive. Walk just a little further when you're in the shopping district on Colon Street. Of the coastal cities we have visited so far in Spain this was by far the best night of our trip.

At the moment the property itself is not a five star hotel. We were disappointed. It's old fashioned and dated.The manager is very friendly but the staff in the restaurant is very young and also friendly but do not act as it should be in a five star hotel. The entrance to the wellnes is awful. Also in the wellnes we were disappointed.
