"The room were clean but the bedding felt a little dirty. It was very noisy and we had to ask the neighbors to stay quiet past 11pm. The car park had a random van with black curtains parked in the corner of the car park. The beds were not as comfortable. "

"Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. (There were other restaurants in easy walking distance.) I look forward to staying there again."

"Château de Fère is set in an extraordinary location, and the setting alone makes it well worth a stop. The historic château and its grounds have a real sense of grandeur that is difficult to find elsewhere. The hotel itself is a little tired in places, but everything is perfectly functional.
