"This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service."

"I stay at Hilton hotels almost every time across the US and I don’t recall ever leaving a bad review. Check in staff not helpful at all. Room was newly renovated and clean, but the door lock didn’t work. Had to swipe the card 6 or 7 times for it to open every time. There are 2 small lights in the room. Very dark. AC was noisy and although the fixtures were new, all the sockets and switches were loose. New covers over old. When you have a shower - there is no door and there lip is only about...

The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. "Very kind staff. The hotel is located very close to the airport, the bus station, and many shops. It is also very close to Volcano Poas. The free breakfast is a delicious and filling traditional Costa Rican breakfast. I would definitely stay here again."

"This is the perfect last minute stay before your flight the next morning. It's an older hotel, clean with all the basic amenities. It provided an airport shuttle to the airport which is what was most convenient because we returned our car rental the night before. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The price was right!"
