"Very convenient location in Japantown close to lots of good restaurants and interesting shops. Hotel is very clean. Bathroom is a bit awkward if sharing with someone you aren’t close to (toilet has a door but the sink and shower area are only separated from the room with a small half curtain. Makes it hard to keep a light on as well without disturbing the other person if going to the toilet at night."

"No complaints. Kind staff. Yes, the surrounding area can be 'lively' at night, but it's really close to public transit/BART so I was always on my way to somewhere else and not hanging out too much around the hotel. There are some good coffee spots nearby. "

I also loved the selection at the market. The local San Francisco ice cream was absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting downtown, this would be a great and interesting option to consider."
