"Before checking in the hotel reached out and asked if I had any special requests or if there was anything I wanted them to know, so I mentioned that my wife and I were celebrating our 12th anniversary and not only did they left us a tray with chocolate and berries but the gave us a complimentary upgrade to a castle view room and it was beautiful, the staff was so nice and helpful that when I go back to Edinburgh I will definitely stay here again, and not to mention the location was amazing."

"Breakfast was excellent as were reception staff and cleaning staff. Had one issue with barman who refused to let one of our party drink his pint in the bar . "

"Fantastic location. Walking distance to nearly everything, including 5 minutes from the train station. They offer a very Euro style breakfast for additional charge, that I saw as minimal value. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room bed is quite small as is the room, somewhat expected. What was not expected was the inability to keep a reasonable temperature. The room on floor 6, including our traveling partners several doors down were very warm. I had to sleep on the sheets each night. For an overall cost of almost $300 US per night, I am mixed as to the high cost off set the location. If breakfast was included or there were additional offerings perhaps. Edinburgh itself is expensive but beautiful."

"Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The mini bar and toiletries were outstanding. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded to an outstanding room that really made our trip special with a truly beautiful view. The location can’t be beat and the staff were incredibly kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay her on our next visit :)"

"I had a room for a week. When I checked in I was accompanied to my room by Kat (maybe)who showed me the room and how to operate the lights. She also explained how secure the property was as the keycard gave access to the elevator as well as the room. That gave me the basic information but the facility should have a sheet of instructions specifically for those who are first time guests. Such as *How to turn bathroom lights off-*operating the dishwasher *operating stovetop *using laundry *breakfast hours; items and options available. Location was so convenient to everything I was interested in. There was construction on the street side but that did not cause me any issue. I would stay here again. I got cleaning once on a 7 day visit, which was fine with me. Room was clean but floor showed a lot of wear."
