"The rooms were HUGE, and staff excellent. Be aware, this old building does not have an elevator. My family friend, 79 years old, had a difficult time with the stairs. It was my fault not catching this, but other than that, The Irish Clock is a gem. I don't drink alcohol when in TH, but my friend does, so the bar downstairs was great. "Although the outside and lobby area looks beautiful and well kept. On your way to your room, you notice that the corridors are not air conditioned. When you enter your room, you must place your hotel key into the card reader on the wall to turn on the air conditioning in your room. If you just arrived later in the evening after a long hot day, the last you want is to wait for your room to cool down. Otherwise the breakfast was wonderful. The added fresh Thai tea cart was wonderful. The staff are wonderful as well. The added bonus for the Central Udon is that the Centra is attached and beckons the call of the tourist to spend their money."
