The hotel is only a stone's throw away from Hellvelyn which is where we intended to visit, which was very convenient. With the delicious breakfast it was very good value. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well."

"The rooms were luxuriously furnished and the hotel overall is very cosy and welcoming. Staff couldn;t do enough to help and the attention to detail was fantastic, everything from bags for walking boots to fresh milk on the landing for in room tea and coffee. A bottle of speciality beer in the room was a bonus."
