"This hotel had Great Lake views, very peaceful and serene. It was slightly off the main drag so quieter street and not immediately in the fray upon leaving hotel. Staff was always polite, helpful, friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. Highly recommend!"

"Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue."

"A great find and conviently located. The gentleman on reception was great throughout my stay, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was a good size with lots of old period furnishings. Large comfy bed and a fan heater provided. AC worked well too though being the cooler months use of fan heater was needed. Large bathroom with good hot water shower. Located within walking distance to the Palace entrance gate and plenty of resturants nearby. Would definately recomend and stay here...

"The staff and management were extremely professional and attentive. The breakfast bar was just the right size to get a tasty choice of options. The areas within the fort converted to hotel were picturesque. The interior rooms were light-sleeper quite. The air was clear with plenty of lighting. "The hotel is partly abandoned with a forgotten pool area and sharing an entrance with a slum in the worst part of town. The room was not cleaned well and the breakfast despite having good dood is located in a dungeon. I was sorry to have booked despite having a view of this secondary lake"
