We stayed at the Kayon resort when we first arrived in Bali. The staff was amazing and very attentive. Our room was lovely and the view on the jungle was great. Breakfast is also amazing, one of the best breakfast we had in a hotel before. They have a shuttle avalaible to the centre of Ubud which is helpful. Overall would love to come back again.

Excellent hotel for honeymoon

Really recommend this hotel! From the moment we got there, we saw how the staff was so helpful, professional and happy. They made sure we had the best days there. The hotel is amazing, the bedroom is wonderful (perfect for honeymoon) and the food was great!

A perfect valley escape

I absolutely LOVEDDDDDD our stay here. We stayed at Deluxe villa. Staff are all kind and friendly, The rooms are spacious. The main pool was super clean, well maintained and empty most of the time, deep enough (150cm)for a serious swimmers. I rarely ran into people in the resort except dinner time. Anyone who's finding a secluded spot this is perfect resort. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful luxury in picturesque valley - the Kayon Valley Resort was stunning. We were welcomed warmly and the service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff at the restaurant and resort were so friendly - the food was excellent, the rooms were beautiful and the daily activities were a real bonus.

We loved how all staff got to know us and created a unique experience. The chef made gluten free meals, which was amazing. The rooms were well maintained and we loved the private pool. They helped us in going to a medical Center and organised transport, we can’t thank them enough.

We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night stay at Kayon Valley. The staff were all very attentive (we’d seen previous reviews mentioning being badgered by staff at breakfast about plans for the day with a ‘salesy’ slant but we found this not to be the case). Staff just wanted the guests to know what the hotel itself and surrounding area had to offer (free guided walks/free shuttles to and from Ubud centre, spa treatments, local attractions etc). We did not find it pushy (but can understand that others might) but clearly something the hotel management had instilled in its staff. Perhaps this could be eased off a little. Other than some very minor picky points (nowhere to hang hand towels, interior hall light switch being on the outside of the room, annoying bonfires making it untenable to enjoy the balcony at times) it was very well done. The safe in our room didn’t work but once we reported it, that was quickly remedied. The food was excellent, the monkeys that visit most mornings were cheeky and the welcome was very hospitable. They chime a gong when new guests arrive which is a nice touch. Great entertainment with local dances and a very talented duo of keyboard and vocals. If we’re back in Ubud, we’ll certainly stay here again.
