The staff was very attentive and friendly, and wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The pool was convenient for all the guests because of proximity in a beautiful lush garden. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with adequate choices. The location is excellent being close to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary. There is a walking path that you share with motorcycles but you can get to Ubud centre in 15 min. It would have been nice to have a pillow selection. Pillows were hard. For this price point I would highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay.

Nice quiet location
Enjoyed are stay, staff are great. The only drawback to the location is the lack of restaurants in the area as most restaurants are on the either side of the monkey forest.The walk only takes 10 minutes but you are dodging the monkeys and scooters on the path to these restaurants.

Great staff, great location!
amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Nestled away in a nice quite part of ubud, but close enough to all the action. Rooms are spacious and clean and the gardens have a beautiful atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Overall the place was nice to stay in and the staff were very friendly. However, we were disappointed with our room as we could hear the people talking next door very clearly and also when their TV was on. Due to this, we did not have very good sleeps. Apart from that, everything else was fine.

Great family stay
We only stayed 3 nights - wish we'd been able to stay longer. We are a family of 5 and had the family villa which was perfect for us. The hotel wasn't full so we were often the only ones at breakfast and around the pool. We loved the inside outside living. The staff were very attentive to our needs, especially our children aged 5, 9 and 11. Only downside was not being able to walk to/from monkey forest rd after dark but a car/ taxi was cheap. Food was great.

表は素敵なレストランで、背後にビラが位置する。 とっても素敵なスタッフもいますが、レストランとの仕事ももっていて、ホテル専門の感がないのが、少し問題。スタッフの数も足りない感！ 可もなし不可もなし。特徴にかけます。 近くには、ラカレケやら影武者やら日本人に嬉しいレストランもあり、便利。 モンキーフォレストまで徒歩７分。

soooo!!!!!! relaxing
its a lovely hotel quiet, comfortable, the staff are fantastic no request a chore for them, and always greeted with a smile. The aussie service industry could learn a lesson from these folks. The food is fine, the location is perfect for the hustle and bustle of Monkey forest road. the pool is just fine to relax in, gardens are immaculate. Overall the Chili is a value for money hotel and would recommend it to anybody.

Chili Cottage
A great central place to stay in Ubud. Our cottage was very comfortable, comprising of a bedroom, large bathroom with bath and outdoor shower and a kitchenette outside. It was situated in a beautiful, peaceful garden by the pool. The staff were all friendly and efficient, especially Pindah and Komang. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was really good, try the pineapple pancakes!

Lazy staff
No water pressure in showers. Had to ask for sheets to be changes after 8 nights. I asked for the toilet to be cleaned as there was no toilet brush to do so myself. Cutlery and crockery were put away with only a rinse, I would of washed it myself but there was not dish cloth or detergent to do so. Security slept in the dinning room that I discovered at 7am on my way to yoga! Staff also made themselves comfortable in your room to watch channel 87 (an Indonesian soap channel) and weren't smart enough to change it back to the channel that you were previously watching. I had the advertised turndown service once in the 12 days I stayed because the owner was onsite with his family.

Balinese hospitality as I know it.
Made and the team provided a wonderful weekend wind down after a hectic work time. Food is excellent with a nice balance of flavours (try the grilled tuna - medium) presented with a level of politeness I have not experienced in a long time. World, take note, this is customer service!

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage
Wir waren 3 Nächte im Chilli Ubud - das Hotel ist sehr nett, genau wie die Leute die es betreiben. Vom Frühstück bis zum Abend bekommt man immer ein Lächeln. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

2回目の滞在です。 静かな島でのんびり過ごしたい人におすすめです。 設備は最低限ですが、コスパ最高です！ 広々としたベッドルーム、エアコン、リラックスできるプール（ウォータースライダー付き）、 バー、レストラン、フレンドリーなスタッフのみなさんと、島でゆっくり過ごすに十分のものが揃っています。 （食事は、隣のホテル Mola-mola house がメニュー豊富で安くておすすめです。） レンタルバイク・シュノーケリング・マングローブツアーなど各種オプショナルツアーも豊富です。 トイレの下水設備も十分で、シャワーは熱いお湯がしっかり出ます。 しかし、高級ホテルに慣れている方は清掃など不満を感じるかもしれません。 （シャワー用のビーチサンダルの持参をおすすめします） 室内はアメニティ・ティーメーカー・グラス・スリッパなどありません。 冷蔵庫内のビール・水は有料です。 ルームサービスはありません。 Wi-Fiはレセプション周辺のみ使えます。 日本語スタッフはおらず、英語のみです。 マッサージは近隣のマッサージ屋から出張を頼むので、前日までにレセプションで予約をした方が良いです。 また、ホテルそばのビーチは波が高くて船も多く、泳ぐには向いていません。 デメリットもありますが、価格を考えると十分すぎるサービスのホテルです。 またレンボンガン島へ行く際は利用したいと思います。

Ein schönes Studio in einer schönen Anlage
Anlage schön, das Studio war ein 2-stöckiges Häuschen und sehr schick. Das Personal war teilweise sehr freundlich, teilweise schien die Höflichkeit aufgesetzt. Es wurde versucht, Touren und Aktivitäten zu überteuerten Preisen an den Mann zu bringen. Als das Personal merkte, dass wir darauf nicht eingehen würden (ich kannte jedoch die tatsächlichen ortsüblichen Preise) erfand man Telefonanrufe, mit denen man den Preis angeblich neu verhandelt hätte und präsentierte neue Beträge. Lustig war dabei, dass sich das Personal nicht von der Stelle bewegt und defintiv keine Telefonate geführt hatte. Das Früshtück war nett angerichtet, auch wenn es Schmackhafteres gibt, das Infrastrukturpersonal war authentisch freundlich und die Anlage lag zwischen 22:30 Uhr und 06:00 Uhr SEHR ruhig, da kann man in Ubud mit Verkehr und Hähnen viel Pech haben. Insgesamt fanden wir den Aufenthalt dort schön, das Zentrum Ubuds ist durch den Weg "durch den Affenwald" (entlang des Eintrittspflichtigen Waldstücks, man muss also nichts zahlen), fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Zur Perfektion fehlte ein wenig besser geschultes oder besser gelauntes Personal (vielleicht sind die Arbeitsbedingungen nicht super?) und etwas mehr Bestdändigkeit und Kontinuität beim Service/Maintenance und vielleicht ein ein bisschen zum Preis passendes, hochwertigeres Frühstück. Es war alles ok, aber beeindruckend war es nicht.

Great Staff
Staff are super friendly and super nice awesome job.Restaurant has great food. The only letdown was that some rooms were under renovation and this could affect the peaceful atmosphere of the Hotel. Mind you the rooms need renovation and once complete should be amazing.

Nous avions réservés pour 1 semaine au final nous avons séjourné 3 nuits. Le personnel est très serviable mais la localisation de l'hotel engendre des frais supplémentaires

おいしい朝食
朝食がとても良かったです。新しい建物をを建設中でうるさかったのが残念ですが、庭もきれいで気持ちよく滞在できました。スタッフも教育されています。 まわりは交通量が増え、バイクと車だらけです。以前のニュークニンの雰囲気はありません。

Accueil raffiné dans un cadre idylique
Accueil particulièrement attentionné, chambre sobre très agréable, belle salle de bain, petit déjeuner remarquable, resto d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix, tout était parfait (sauf les coqs, comme partout à Bali). Accès direct au plein centre par la Monkey Forest ultra-sympathique. Spa à l'hôtel presque en face (dans la même direction) très abordable malgré le beau cadre.

Good hotel with the price we paid.
This hotel only have not more than 10 rooms within the total facility, quite place; room and toilet are very huge and clean; bed is comfortable, most of the staff can speak very good English, is within walking distance to Monkey Forest (5 min), 20 min walk to Ubud market. Good breakfast and definitely will come back to again.

Wir würden immer wieder kommen.
Wir waren 4 Nächte im Chili Cottage und hatten den Studio Room Nr. 6. Wir wurden mit den Worten "Welcome to our home " begrüßt. Und so wurde es auch gelebt. Es wurde sich immer nach unserem befinden erkundet mit persönlichem Bezug auf uns. Es wurde alles sofort erledigt. Touren und Fahrer wurden organisiert, Tipps gegeben und nach gehakt. Der Raum war mehr ein Haus mit großem Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche getrennt. Das Bett war großartig und nachts konnte man der Natur lauschen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte super. Auf der eigenen Terrasse gibt es auch eine Kitchenette. Das Frühstück war immer lecker. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen hierher zu gehen. Es ist ein Ort der Ruhe. Wer Trubel will, ist in 10 min im Zentrum von Ubud oder in 3 min am Monkey Forest (jeweils zu Fuß). Es war mit Abstand das beste Zimmer unseres Urlaubs mit einem selten zu findenden Preis -Leistungs -Verhältnis.

It was a very relaxed and friendly services provided, everyone there is so polite and helpful, the place is minutes walk to the monkey forest which is a delight to experience and also near to the ubud market, we were both quite sick before we arrived ubud but the staff there were really accommodating and leave a lasting impressions. will definitely go back again if we visit ubud, no doubt...

Staff extrem freundlich,haben uns oft mit Namen angesprochen und sich auch erkundigt ob alles ok ist, wo man war, ob es uns gefällt, ob wir Tips brauchen...obwohl sie bei Fragen zu Touren/ Geld wechseln/ Transport leider nicht wirklich behilflich sein konnten. Unsere Kissen rochen übel, wurden aber sofort ersetzt. Transport haben wir direkt vis a vis gebucht und war super. Leckerer Willkommensdrink mit kalten Erfrischungstücher, man fühlt sich wohl. Pool schön gepflegt im Garten (leider kleine Baustelle neben dem Hotel) Anlage sehr gepflegt und täglich gewischt. Super individuelles Frühstück bis 11h. Hatten nur einmal ein Dessert am Abend, war vorzüglich! Offenes Bad... Anti Mückenstecker & Mückennetz. Sprayen den Garten, dass die Mücken nicht schlüpfen, top! Lage perfekt für uns, sehr ruhig und etwas ausserhalb, 15-20min zu Fuss durch den Affenwald bis ins lebendige Zentrum. Kommen gerne wieder. Perfektes Preis Leistungsverhältnis!

highly recommend
Great stay, sweet staff and really nice room. I particularly loved the outdoor shower, especially when it rained outside. The pool was comfortably warm. The food was great too, including a very abundant breakfast. Staying in this part of 'greater Ubud' is nice, as the street is quite lovely.
