"The property was well placed for shopping in the strand and close to the ferry terminal. Jon the owner was very friendly. We stayed in the executive suite number 5. We had everything we needed in there and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay at The Town House again."

"The property is in a great location with easy access by public transport from the airport. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and the free bottled water a bonus. A couple of gripes though the ensuite was very small and needs some TLC the tiles and shower need replacing and the toilet brush was not clean. Also we were only give one key this meant we had stopped stay together all the time. We also managed to lock ourselves out and had to wait nearly 2 hours fro staff...

"The room was clean, however the sink was badly cracked and needed replacing. The furnishings in the room were fit for purpose, albeit very dated. I also found the room to be quite noisy - being able to hear showers running, toilets flushing etc from nearby rooms, early morning and during the night. I had a room at the back of the hotel and only had a view of other buildings. However, the rooms at the front including the sitting area, bar and restaurant had great views over the bay. "We stayed with 8 of us for the first weekend of the 2026 TT races , The night porter Ken was brilliant, The manager Ash was brilliant, The food menu was brilliant The beers were brilliant Very nice friendly atmosphere, bar stayed open until the small hours , thank you Ken , We are definitely going to return"

"The owners were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and I like that you had the same table each day with your room number on it. We left before breakfast and the owners brought to our room a bag with goodies in for breakfast to take with us. The room was small but the only issue we had was the bed seemed very small for a double. Otherwise everything was fine. We always found a parking space near hotel."

There is NOT a lot going on in Laxey, but that exactly what we were looking for. if you just want to relax and get away. The shore hotel is a great spot"
