"Lovely hotel in all areas"

"Well built hotel. Poorly maintained. Staff somewhat indifferent to issues. Shower had mould probably due to poor ventilation. Dust settled in lots of places which were not cleaned including in the restaurant. Shame as it has potential."

"The property is perched high above the road. Parking is accessed via a very steep narrow driveway above, and is free. Room was very clean, Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly."

"Nice hotel. Rooms a bit dated but other than that.can't find fault with anything."

"Welcoming staff, large family room, comfortable bed, breakfast delicious. Stairs quite steep (i should have booked a room on lower floor) i didnt have any issue but felt if i had they would de addressed and dealt with effectively. Thank you for a wonderful stay over."

"Charming little hotel on the seaside promenade. Spacious rooms, a cosy "snug lounge" to read or have tea, coffee or other. Nice dining room, with a choice of free continental breakfast (which includes fresh baked croissants, cereal, toat, juice yogurt, and tea or coffee) or a full breakfast for a reasonable cost. The dining room is also open for lunch and dinner, and the food is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful, and as a solo traveler, i felt very comfortable."

"This was are third visit to the gladstone, Gavin and Stephen are brilliant hosts staff are excellent, food ot the hotel is excellent and not to expensive, car parking either side of the hotel. "
