"Great location. Mattress needs to be replaced. It’s worn and lumpy. Exterior of the building is littered with cigarette butts. Several homeless people loitering around the parking lot as well. Wasn’t unsafe just not what you want to deal with. Complimentary breakfast was okay, exact same thing all three days. Hotel didn’t seem happy that I used Experian to book the room."

"Pros: free laundry with laundry baskets inside rooms, full & fully stocked kitchen (although you have to know how to unlock the electric stove in order to operate it), free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, friendly housekeeping staff, fast food/restaurants walking distance away, and small convenience store in lobby with cheap prices. Cons: Expedia advertised the room incorrectly as a “twin bed” room (even though the hotel only has queen/king beds only), the room incidentals is $50 per day, paid parking per day ($14/day per car) although cost comes out of incidentals instead of an extra charge, weird luggage carts that look like like shopping carts that don’t carry much luggage, no swimming pool, and no free breakfast/restaurant on property (though allowed to go to Courtyard Bistro next door). "

"Pool/hot tub is under construction and there was no pre-message regarding this. Front desk staff became defensive in response to me when I suggested emails they sent me directly from the hotel should have mentioned the pool/hot tub closure since it was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Instead of being able to accept the feedback, she became rude, which is not an ideal way to treat guests. Hotel was clean, but there was a horrible chemical/perfume smell being piped in throughout the building that gave us headaches. We initially thought it was cleaning products, but realized it was everywhere we went, so realized it must have been coming in through the air conditioning. Luckily, we were able to open the window in our room slightly to let fresh air in. This is a loud hotel - tons of families with kids yelling in the halls and through the adjoining room door - ice machines right outside the door. I guess because it's a convention center hotel this is to be expected, but something to be aware of if you are traveling without kids or not in a large group. Room itself was nice. Appreciated the refrigerator and that it was enclosed behind a panel so we didn't hear it humming all night; spacious, with good furniture, room to hang clothes and nice couch/seating area. "
