Cozy stay in Turckheim

Perfectly located in the main square of Turckheim, very nice village with wine caves and good restaurant. The hotel is really cozy and the service is gentle and nice! The room was charming and very clean, and the public halls are really good to relax. We had a really good time!

Older hotel that shows its age, but that isn’t a complaint, it is part of its charm. Quirky collection of furniture and decor. Great location and very friendly staff. No A/C, but that is not a surprise for a hotel of this age in Europe. A fan was provided within the room and, although the weather was pretty hot, it’s a dry heat and temps dropped with the sun and it was comfortable.

Oh I loved this hotel! Great location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Gorgeous sitting areas with a unique eclectic gathering of items. Lovely courtyard and delicious breakfast. It feels like you are staying in a fairy castle in medieval times! Had 2 different rooms and both were lovely! Highly recommend if you are anywhere close to Turckheim!!

Beautiful and great breakfast

Gorgeous room with gorgeous furniture, if I could’ve I’d bring home the sideboard;) We stayed for two nights in the lovely Turckheim. Spent half a day in Colmar but really appreciated the less crowded village. The room was big and beautiful and we slept quite well, just me that woke up every night by someone passing the room. I guess we shared it with some lovely ghost. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A charming hotel with beautiful and inviting decor - the lobby is filled with interesting and striking objects from around the world, particularly Asia and Africa. My room was so quaint and pretty - the floral wallpaper was a nice touch. The view of the vineyards/rolling hills was memorable. I felt very safe throughout my stay, both in the hotel and in the area surrounding it. My only complaint was that there was no elevator and I had to lug up my big suitcase to the 3rd floor all by myself!

Traditional ambience.

Unfortunately the bathroom needed a shower screen or curtain over the bath. There was no soap etc, not good after Covid. There was no bottled water in the room. The bed was very hard. However, the hotel has a lovely ambience, unchanged for many years of our visiting.

Wij verbleven hier enkele dagen tijdens de kerstvakantie met onze dochter van 2J. Wat een prachtig pand! Heel vriendelijk personeel (kindvriendelijk). Ontbijtbuffet was rijkelijk, genoeg variatie en heel lekker. Ideale locatie met een prachtig zicht op het plein. Rustig gelegen en op een boogscheut van Colmar. De kamers zijn echte charmekamers, houten vloeren - dus de akoestiek is niet top maar dat hoort erbij :). Sommige badkamers hebben hier en daar een mankementje (loshangende plastic latje aan het glazen douchewandje) maar verder heel netjes! Een echte aanrader!

Superbe bâtiment au cœur de cette charmante petite ville. Personnel très aimable et aux petits soins : m'a changé d'une chambre qui ne me convenait pas sans aucun problème. Salon de lecture vaste et calme avec une belle déco originale. Chambre parfaite. SdB très petite, surtout la douche, mais OK. Seul bémol : j'estime qu'un 3 étoiles devrait mettre Kleenex et bouteille d'eau à disposition. Petit déjeuner généreux et d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Je recommande chaudement !
