"Clean, central right next to Heumarkt square and a 5 minute walk to the subway/tram. Also a 10 minute walk to Cologne main train station. Careful not to follow Google Maps it takes you one street down to the Rhein river side. This hotel is one street up. It’s about 20 minutes to Cologne fair. Room is super small but comfortable. Aircon worked ok. Breakfast was excellent, nice selection and friendly service."

"I was in Cologne for a 5 night stay with the goal of seeing the city and visiting my German relatives. This hotel was perfectly located and central, my room was comfortable with good air-conditioning and very clean. I was traveling alone and had no concerns for safety and many places to eat were just steps away from the hotel. I had the breakfast one morning - and the service was excellent - the choices for the buffet were typical and enough for me. Although my room window faced the Alter Markt - I had no issue with noise - very well insulated. The front desk staff was helpful and gracious - calling a cab, answering questions, and even helping me to mail a package!"

"Everything was great. This was our second time staying here due to the helpfulness of staff and the great location. The only issue I had this time was a malfunctioning public toilet in the back of the main area near the orders train bridge that made walking through there so, so awful. Luckily, going that way isn’t necessary, but it still probably should have been addressed before it got to that state. Still, I understand not everything can be controlled, and everything else about our trip was perfect. I will return here when I am in Cologne again."

"It’s a beautiful hotel right in the center of the city. I was just passing through, on the way to Austria, so I only stayed for one night. I would have liked to stayed for longer. Maybe next time. The staff were very polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was quite nice. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone."
