"Accordig to the way I was taken to this property you should only plan coming here if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with off- road tires, dirt motorcycle, horse or donkey. The road in is in terrible condition! It takes about 45 mins. to go about 10 kms. The beach looks to be at the bottom of a small mountain, not sure how you access it. After reaching the to wn, it looks to have a fair amount of amenities. I needed a place to stay for the night, but much to far from the airport. I found...

"El ambiente tradicional y típico es muy bueno. Como recomendación solo l limpieza en general requiere más atención, al igual que el control de moscas dentro del área donde sirven el desayuno, quizás implementar utensilios que puedan ayudar a control el conecto de cualquier insecto o animalito con la comida. Otro punto es que siempre tienen un conflicto con el cobro de impuestos para las personas que residimos fuera del país y que no llevamos nuestro pasaporte sellado debido al registro biométrico, deben solucionarlo pues es el único hotel con el cual ya van dos veces que tengo ese tipo de problema."

"We loved the staff! Very helpful and accommodating. If you don't know any spanish, definitely download google translate. This hotel is not close to anything, which is kind of why we chose it. Uber there and then talk to the staff about rides. They can help you arrange what you need. Food was great, the ahi tuna and the beef carpaccio were amazing! The hotel and grounds were very pretty and clean. They take pride in their property and it shows. The only thing that we did not like was that the AC and water cut off every night. It would get so hot, I couldn't sleep thru the night. Then when they turn the water back on, it was really loud and we would wake up again. This is normal for places out of the city, and I was aware of it but I had never experienced it. Definitely something to keep in mind for the light sleepers like me. Also, very thin walls...."

"Room was clean and modern. Gym was one of the best I've seen in Colombia. Pool area is great and the bar-restaurant has amazing food and drinks they can serve you at the pool. Only thing is the price I was charged was not the price I booked on Hotels.com, I was charged $40 more per day than what I booked, obviously I didn't know until I was at the airport and received my e-receipt, so a dark spot on an otherwise great stay."
