"The hotel is very clean and I noticed the 98% cleanliness rating behind the front desk. The location is very convenient to the highway. I was disappointed because the balconies on the building are fake. You cannot access them. Also you cannot bring your luggage through the front lobby. You have to go around to the back of the hotel to bring in your luggage. At least there are elevators inside the back door. While the hotel is very clean, the clientele is questionable. Two nights I was woken up in the middle of the night by people fighting in the hallway complete with every curse word that you can think of. The hotel should have security checking throughout the hotel to resolve these kinds of issues. I probably would not stay here again because of the clientele."

"A continental breakfast was not offered. They had a bistro which was very expensive. My first room did not appear to be vacuumed or cleaned very well. My second room was cleaned a little bit better but had not been cleaned behind anything for quite some time. I had to use a microwave in the lobby which was really nasty. The refrigerator would only work for 2 hours at a time. You had to keep pushing a button inside the refrigerator to keep it cool. I waited for 15 minutes in line to get a receipt for my stay and was told I don't get a receipt because I booked it with Expedia. I was told I had to log on to Expedia to get it. Not a good experience for being a marriott!"

"Staff were absent at checkin, 20 minutes waiting. Room clean. Toilet leaking and flushing every 5minutes. No towels. After a nother long wait the staff gave me two floor mats instead of towels. This stuff did not engage in a conversation with me other than to not his head. I never understood if he understood I was asking for a bath towel.. I was approached two times by persons asking for food assistance. Lots of trash in the hallways and around the trash cans. A hall light was strobing all night long. No one was in the office at checkout. The air conditioner worked very well. No extra blankets in the bedroom. Sheets and bedspread were very thin."

"We stayed here once years ago and were happy to have another great experience this time! The amenities, game room, staff and happy hour are all fantastic and the art deco decor is really unique. The restaurant was very good and the rooms are clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend!"

"The beautiful pictures of this hotel were not the reality. The outside was falling apart and the main common area was torn apart. Very dirty and unkept. Overlooking that, we checked in and the first room we were given on the 8th floor had, not old looking, blood smeared on two walls. We requested a different room and were given one on the 1st floor which was covered in mold with the bathroom ceiling falling in and a terrible smell. Decided not to stay and asked for a refund. After some debate, the desk staff tried to say we had to check out within an hour of checking in to get a refund, which it was under an hour, we did get a refund and left. Nothing nice to say about this place except that the front staff was overall very polite and accommodating to our refund request."
