We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. "Albergo classico, pulito e con personale molto gentile. I bagni necessiterebbero di una ristrutturazione."

Seizoen was ver ten einde waardoor de buitenruimtes vol stonden met opgestapelde zonnebedden waardoor een rommelige indruk ontstond. "The staff were very nice and polite ladies. Rooms were a bit smelly and bathrooms needed a bit more attention! Breakfast was very nice and there was always fresh orange juice and vaffels. Parking was next to the hotel! Generally was a very nice experience!"

"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....
