The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The area is gorgeous!! One can walk everywhere. I loved the view of the Rock from the balcony. The beds were not very comfortable. I had great difficulty finding it at night as the sign is difficult to see in the dark.

Terza volta a Monemvasia. Torneremo

Torniamo per la terza volta a Monemvasia e troviamo quasi subito la sistemazione ideale (anche le precedenti erano in zona). Posto tranquillo, comodo a tutti i servizi. Pulito. Stanza più che vivibile, bagno piccolino. A disposizione un angolo cottura comune per preparazioni semplici. Si è sentita la mancanza solo del phon (che non avevo con me). Comunque consigliato.

In die Jahre gekommene Zimmer. Direkt am Wasser mit Blick auf den Felsen, falls man das Glück hat, ein Zimmer in diese Richtung zu haben.

No sea view and outdated room

Please be aware that some rooms sold as "sea view" mainly offer a view to a wall and a partial sea view. The room was not conform to the pictures and I was very disappointed. Apart from the view, the room was overall outdated and the bathroom was extremely narrow. It was difficult to open and close the window. The shower head was full of limescale, preventing the water from pouring normally. We took a needle and fixed the issue in 5 minutes, something the owner could have done easily. In addition, our room was next to the common kitchen so it was quite noisy in the morning. On the bright side, the location was good and the place was clean. Still, I wouldn't recommend this place.

No frills

If you are looking for a no frills place with amazing views this is the place for you By no frills I mean one socket that has an extension lead running everything through, a bedside light that electrocutes you, a bed as hard as nails( I now have back ache) and a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower, that washes you and everything around you as you cannot close the curtain otherwise there is even less space. This property though is also part of the Monemvasia Village bungalows, located about 1/2 mile up a steep hill,which we had booked through, though somehow ended up in the Villa Diamanti there is a lovely pool and nice area to sit which you have use the of .The bungalows look really nice from the outside and I think if I were to return that would be the preferable choice.

Mouldy smelly

Mouldy smell on ground floor. Very old accommodations and hard thin mattresses. Saw snake like creature in washroom behind the toilet.

Die Lage und das Personal waren toll. Leider war das Badezimmer in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Den Duschvorhang konnte man nicht richtig schließen sodass das ganze Bad unter Wasser stand. Zudem war er locker und fiel während dem duschen mehrfach herunter. Als wir den Besitzer darauf ansprachen, war er sehr unfreundlich und meinte wir könnten uns auch ein anderes Hotel suchen.

Unmittelbar nach der Buchung nahm das Hotel schon Kontakt per E-mail mit uns auf. so waren wir sehr beruhigt, dass da auch nichts schief geht. Absolut pünktlich zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt erwartete uns ein Mitabeiter auf dem privaten Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Wir erhielten mit 4 Erwachsenen ein großes, ebenerdiges Parterreapartment; großer Wohn-Ess-Küchenraum mit 2 ordentlichen Betten und Klimaanlage, kleines Bad (ortstypisch Dusche ohne Vorhang) und ein separates, kleineres Zweibettzimmer. Küchenausstattung ausreichend, kein Esstisch im Raum, dafür eine tischähnliche Abtrennung zum Küchenbereich; sehr große Terrasse direkt vor der Apartmenttür zum Garten und damit zum Meer mit Blick auf "den Felsen" gelegen (hier Tisch und Stühle). Weiteres Plus: ein großer Standventilator, Mückengitter und funktionierendes Wlan.

Appartamento piano terra, con soggiorno, camera, bagno, tavolo nel giardino. Arredamento un po' datato ma funzionale. Cucina atrezzata. Accoglienza buona. Wi-Fi solo nel giardino. Aria condizionata AC. parcheggio nel cortile. Vista su monenvasia stupenda.
