"A lovely hotel in an excellent location but without many amenities. For a hotel of this caliber the breakfast was disappointing (limited choices and food in warming trays was room temperature) and the carpet in our room was badly stained and needed replacement."

"There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult. The hotel staff - Vladimir and Marco greeted us, took our luggage and brought us prosecco in their courtyard. Vladimir escorted us to our room & showed us how things in the room worked. What a great first impression! Our room was located on the 2nd floor, overlooking the courtyard. It was very clean and comfortable. We were very pleased! The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet. Great nite’s sleep! Breakfast was super great w/ lots of options. If we visit Venice again, we would definitely return to Hotell Moresco!!"

"Great location in the centre of Trieste, just a 5 minute walk from the Grande canal,and an 8 -10 min walk to the train and bus stations. Check in quick,easy and unusually early these days. Our room was compact ,with limited storage space for a 5 night stay consisting of a wardrobe and an ottoman.Could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe but otherwise it was fine. Everything else regarding the room was excellent and it was tastefully decorated as were the public areas. The staff too,were welcoming, friendly and helpful."
