"We spent 8 nights at this hotel and we were very pleased. The Breakfast included with the room was better than most, the bed was very comfortable and we had a spacious bathroom, unusual for Slovenia. Only criticism was that the room safe was not attached to anything. I (or anybody who got into the room) could have walk away with it. The location is excellent for getting into the tourist area and while it's in a pedestrian zone, our drivers were allowed to pull up to the front door. Would stay again."

The room was clean and spacious, but they gave us what appeared to be the main office room, which was definitely a little weird. "Had a lovely stay at the Occidental in Ljubljana. The hotel was perfectly located and the Old Town was a few minutes walk away. The bed was as good as I have had in a hotel. The shower and wifi were also good. Breakfast had a wide selection and set you up for the day. The staff were great. Thanks to the lady who greeted me warmly every morning and brought me scrambled eggs freshly cooked (sorry forgot name). Big thanks to Fatima who looked after our room and was very attentive. If we return we will definitely stay at the Occidental."

"I stayed at the Ambient hotel in Sept 2026. It is a nice hotel, a bit old fashion but still OK. Good for the money you pay. Free breakfast, extremely helpful staff. They also offer dinner so it is up to you if you want to go out. Very comfortable bed."
