"Owners are wonderful, rooms were modern and rooms and property were very well maintained. 10 for cleanliness."

"Very nicely maintained motel by the family. Very friendly service."

"Quiet neighborhood! Therecwere friendly folks in the area, good local dining in Empire and a great starting off point for viewing The Dunes!"

"I've stayed here in the past and enjoyed the hotel. But the cleanliness has gone downhill. Probably won't stay here again."

"Bugs in room. Worn out facility. Very old. Not worth the price."

"There should be more better breakfast options available and maintain more staff so that guests are not waiting to be checked in we had to wait for 30 minutes before someone showed up at the front desk. But the lady was politely asked for excuse as she was busy. That was acceptable as she was the only person on the front"

"I was a guest at a nearby wedding and the Mushroom Cap was a venue listed by the bride as a nearby option to book for the night/weekend. The photos online made it look so quaint and adorable and seeing it in person did not disappoint! The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were very clean and kept. The cabins on site are due to be reopened after a full remodel and I look forward to booking there again for a longer stay to utilize the nearby summer attractions."

"Room was clean, but when updating peeling wallpaper and paint should be removed not painted over. Bathroom fan needs to work in that small of a space. Beds were good."

"Will definitely stay here again!"

"Nice little place to stay for a weekend visit, loved that it was pet friendly the staff super friendly also quick to get anything you need, the toilet didn’t flush that great, lol over all, cute place would book again the price was reasonable"
