Besutiful

Very friendly staff at the hotel. We asked for many things and they fixed it all. Breakfast was good, remember to ask for drinks. Nice parking place and good size in the rooms. Who knows-mybe we will be back next year.

Kurzaufenthalt am Gardasee für 4 Nächte im Hotel Al Caminetto, sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und auch vom Besitzer betrieben. Hatte Einzelzimmer mit Balkon und guter Ausstattung. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war gut und es gab ein aussreichentes Angebot von frischem Obst, Ei, frischer Wurst und Käse, versch. Marmeladen, Müsli usw., also für jeden was dabei. Kann dieses Hotel nur Empfehlen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Torri del Benaco

Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, Hotel frisch renoviert und sehr gepflegt (viel Liebe zum Detail). Frühstück war sehr gut, schöner Pool und genügend Liegestühle. Parkplatzsituation gut gelöst mit Hebebühnen, die man selber bedienen kann. Die vielen Hinweistafeln im Hotel muss man teilweise einfach mit Humor nehmen. Dieses Hotel können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Familiär geführtes Hotel mit hohem Wohlfühleffekt

Die Hotelleitung ist sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht und erfüllt jeden möglichen Wunsch. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht groß, aber völlig ausreichend, jedoch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die ganze Anlage ist frisch renoviert und zeichnet sich durch einen modernen Pool aus. Wir planen für nächstes Jahr aufgrund der sehr positiven Erfahrungen dort wieder einen Aufenthalt.

We were made to feel welcome and special

This is a family run hotel, and it shows. The Consolini family really care about their business, and they have invested a lot of time, money, energy and enthusiasm into the hotel. Generally we were left to our own devices, which was just what we wanted, but if we needed anything, someone was always available and happy to help. This even extended to impromptu Italian lessons in the evening, and Marcello's patience with the mad British couple was nothing less than saintly. The room was great - even though it was in the blazing August sun all day, the blinds and (quiet) air conditioning kept the room cool. The bed was comfortable, so we slept well. The double-glazing also helped - there was an enormous, loud thunderstorm on our first night, but the room was perfectly quiet. We spent most of our time exploring the area, but for anyone looking for a hotel to stay in and around, there is an amazing pool there, which for us, provided a lovely backdrop for a nightcap. In short, if you are looking for a small, friendly hotel, then I can't recommend Hotel Al Caminetto highly enough. It met and exceeded our expectations. Oh, and one last important detail - I think it also serves the best coffee in Torri.

Spotless!

This is a family run hotel and they deliver a warm and relaxed experience. The hotel and room were immaculately clean, with the pool and breakfast area designed to a wonderfully contemporary specification. The breakfast selection was perfect for the two of us and the drinks at the bar were appropriately priced. Lastly, a gorgeous Miniature Pinscher is always on hand to welcome you back to the hotel! If he isn't available, the father and son owners were both friendly, helpful and dedicated to their fabulous hotel. We will be recommending the hotel and resort to anyone visiting Lake Garda.

Sehr nettes, geschmackvolles Hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und wie es scheint hochwertig mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es liegt in dem hübschen und touristisch nicht so überlaufenen Ort Torri del Benaco. Das Frühstück war lecker, es gab reichlich Auswahl und es war schön angerichtet. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich habe mich auch als Alleinreisende sehr wohl gefühlt.

Kanonhotell i en lugn by.

Första gången i Torri. Lugnt och skönt. Hotellet och dess personal var mycket bra. Bättre än många fyrstjärniga hotell i Italien. Bättre går nog inte att få för pengarna.

Top renoviertes Hotel im Stadtzentrum von Torri.

Durch die Neuanlage der Terrasse, mit tollem Schwimmbecken und kleinem Gärtchen hat das Hotel seinen Status deutlich aufgewertet. Freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück ergänzen den gelungenen Gesamteindruck. Gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist nur durch eine Straße vom Gardasee getrennt und somit in optimaler Lage. Das Hotel ist klein gehalten, was im Gegensatz zu den vielen großen Hotels am Gardasee viele Vorteile bietet: Ruhe, stets freie Liegen am schönen Pool, guter Service. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und bietet Käse, Wurst, Müsli, süße Sachen, etc. Zum Wandern ist das Hotel gut ggeeignet, da man direkt vom Hotel aus kleine Dörfer erkunden kann. Immer wieder gerne!

Sehr wohnliches Hotel in einem verträumten Ort

Familie Consolini betreibt in Torri (del Benaco=am Gardasee) ein sehr gemütliches Hotel. Die Zimmergrößen sind ausreichend dimensioniert für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel und haben zur Seeseite sogar Balkons. Vater und Sohn sind überaus zuvorkommend und leiten das Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Alles ist gepflegt und sauber. Die Familie ist bestrebt, sich trotz guter Ausstattung weiter zu verbessern. So werden zur Saison 2016 Renovierungsarbeiten anstehen, die lt. unserer Gastgeber immer gegeben seien. Für italienische Verhältnisse und dieser Hotelkategorie war das umfassende Frühstücksangebot ein richtiger Hammer! Ich würde potentiellen Gästen, die in den Zimmern befindlichen Unterlagen empfehlen. Es gibt hier einen Katalog mit sehr sehenswerten Zielen und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wo waren wir? Wasserfälle bei Varone/Riva, Monte Baldo (extrem steile Berggondelbahn bis auf 1.870m, war etwas schneebedeckt), Sirmeone, Verona, Mantua, Briscia, Bardolino, Garda und viele schöne Städte mehr. Und wie sie das ende Oktober mit dem Wetter so hinbekommen haben bei 20C° ist uns schleierhaft ;-)

Sehr sauberes Hotel in schöner Umgebung. Zimmer klein, aber sehr sauber, so auch das ganze Hotel. Sehr gute Lage, auch gute Parkmöglichkeit. WLAN vorhanden. Minuspunkte: Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, auch kein Wasserkocher für Tee/Kaffee. Aber gutes Frühstück. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Nice hotel close to the lake.

We stayed in Torri Del Benaco for 5 days. The Hotel Al Caminetto was really nice. We had a lovely room,very clean and nice decor on the 3rd floor with a balcony with views to the lake. Breakfast was plentiful and the owners were very friendly. Torri has an array of shops with a very pretty little harbour surrounded by restaurants and Castle Scaligero is well worth a visit. Our favourite restaurant was the La Bottega Di Edita, just 5 mins from the hotel on the main road. We took a bus into Verona -- 162 and return you have to change at Garda -- 184 which takes you through Torri and onwards. The stop is opposite the tabac and you buy your tickets from here. Ferry trips across to Maderno from Torri or from the harbour. We took a trip up to Riva the north of the lake but a lot of the boat trips finish early Oct for the season.
