Good hotel but patchy wi-fi

Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further).

Estuve alojado unas horas en este hotel y, lamentablemente, mi experiencia fue muy negativa. Nada más hacer el check-in me encontré con varios problemas graves que me llevaron a marcharme el mismo día: • La calefacción y el aire caliente no funcionaban, algo especialmente grave en esta época del año. • El baño estaba sucio, con restos evidentes de pelos de otro cliente dentro de la bañera. • Las toallas estaban en mal estado, incluso rotas y deshilachadas. • En general, el mantenimiento de la habitación era deficiente (elementos envejecidos y suciedad). Tras comunicarlo, no se pudo ofrecer una solución satisfactoria, por lo que no tuve más opción que abandonar el hotel pocas horas después. Considero que estas condiciones no son aceptables para un establecimiento que ofrece alojamiento, por lo que solicito que se revise esta situación y se tomen medidas para evitar que otros clientes pasen por lo mismo. Asimismo, reclamaría la devolución del importe correspondiente al alojamiento, ya que no pude disfrutar del servicio contratado.

Great rural stay

Great place that has everything - large bed- and bathroom, restaurant. Excellent base for exploring the surrounding sierra. The village is not far away either.

Oké het is oud , maar wel schoon en alles was goed onderhouden .gegeten in het restaurant en dat was verrassend goed .de kok staat daar echt op een hoog niveau te koken . Petje af , ontbijt was wel minimaal maar genoeg

Fantastisk service

Selvom vi var de eneste gæster, var værelset varmet op ved ankomst, der blev tændt ild i pejsen i restauranten, og tjener og kok leverede en middag - bare for os to! Et godt udgangspunkt for smukke ture i omegnen.

Hôtel très décevant .

Commutateur électrique déficient plomberie à revoir hôtel spartiate, piscine eau verte et inutilisable. Restaurant : hors de prix limite arnaque et le serveur fait une erreur sur l’addition il faut recompter derrière lui . État de l’hôtel en général : manque d’entretien alors que le site est superbe , quel gâchis !

Very rural but beautiful setting.

Unfortunately although I had booked a 2 room apartment and paid £158 for 2 nights there was a misunderstanding on the part of the hotel and we were given a double bed in a sparsely furnished room. The hotel said this room cost €94 for 2 nights. Something went wrong somewhere and when I get home later in October I will follow this up with Expedia

Nada de lo que esperábamos

No hicimos uso de la habitación, sucia y con mal olor, cuando fuimos a reclamar al hotel nos dijeron que es que no estaba hecha... Entonces, por qué estaban las toallas cambiadas, las camas hechas y el precinto del inodoro colocado??? Muy mal no iremos nunca más

El alojamiento se encuentra en una zona tranquila y preciosa. El estado de las instalaciones deja mucho que desear. Hacia frío en la habitación, tuvimos que solicitar dos veces que pusieran la calefacción. La limpieza estaba correcta, aunque había hormigas y arañas. La conexión a Internet era prácticamente imposible. El desayuno muy escaso y si te retrasas en ir al comedor apenas queda nada para comer, y no reponen porque dicen que se les ha terminado ( zumo, aceite...). Nada que objetar a los empleados del hotel, que hacen todo lo posible por solucionar los problemas a pesar de los escasos medios que disponen. Mención especial para DAVID, siempre pendiente y tratando de ofrecer siempre su ayuda.

Badly maintained hotel in beautiful location.

We found the male English speaking receptionist very helpful on arrival and he arranged one of the best rooms with lovely views to two sides. We were therefore extremely disappointed that the room was so basic - no bedside lamps, no fridge nor hairdryer and the bathroom smelt. The hotel is so badly maintained. The blind in our room at one of the Windows couldn't be raised because it was broken one side, the blackout curtains had few hooks so hung badly, one of the lights didn't work and the bed was lumpy and hard, so we slept very badly. We checked out after one night.

Fantastic views

Great hotel up in the mountains with fantastic views from the terrace of the local hills and out over the valley and down to the plain below. Very twisty road up through the olive groves to reach and leave the hotel - spectacular views and fun driving! Service was good and friendly with a good choice in the restaurant.

Quand nous sommes entrés dans l'appartement nous avons tout de suite remarqué la saleté du canapé sur lequel nous n' avons jamais osé nous assoir. Le confort de la chambre est sommaire tout comme le ménage (salle de bain, cuisine, les draps étaient propres tout de même). 4 transats au bord de la piscine dont les abords s'abîment. Joli cadre quand même, restaurant très correct et personnel gentil.

Country side hotel.

If you want to be lost in the spain country side it is the place to be. the room is old and the staff only speak spanish but the food is great and the atmosphere is great.

Es un hotel que no cuida los detalles

Como cuando llegamos eramos pocos los clientes hacia mucho frio, la habitacion no tenia puesta la calefaccion, en el comedor tampoco habia calefaccion y la chimenea solo llegaba su calor a la primera mesa. El jardin estaba descuidado y los caminos llenos de hojas. El desayuno era de malisima calidad, tanto el fiambre como los bollos, el zumo, en fin todo. Por no cuidar los detalles incluso las aceitunas no eran de Jaen. Creo que se deberian cuidar estos detalles.

El restaurante con sus mesas del exterior y la comida muy bien,en general todo bastante bien,lo único que no me gusto mucho fue el césped de la piscina que estaba mal. Espero repetir el año que viene,un saludo
