Good service & value for money

For the price it was ideal. Bruce & Yvonne were very helpful and attentive. Property is very clean albeit a little old and tired now however these new owners are clearly working hard on bringing it up to date whilst keeping it clean and offering a good service at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend it if you are on a budget. Breakfast great.

This was our first visit to this Hotel and was booked as a last min short stay we had 3 hotels we were looking at but how glad were we that we chose this one . The hotel is situated within a short walk to the marina and shops so us ideally situated. The hotel itself is decorated to a very high standard and is absolutely immaculate in every way a credit to the owners for its friendliness and cleanliness. The owners are very nice warmly friendly people and will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. The measures in place for social distancing are set out perfectly so there is no confusion of what to expect, the breakfast we had was amazing as much care and attention taken with serving this as the rest of the hotel. I would give this hotel 10/10 in every way and rest assured we Will be returning here for a longer stay and will be highly recommending this to all our family and friends as it really is a pure gem. Thank you both for a wonderful experience even though it was short it was a wonderful experience, Simon & Helen

Hosts Happy to help and really nice people. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are comfy and smell nice. Super clean would defiantly recommend to anyone thinking about booking. Money well spent.

nice place to stay for a decent price

A nice room for a very reasonable price. There are shops nearby, but it's a quiet area. The breakfast was good. The guest house is a perfect place to stay, if hiking the SW Coast Path.

The room was very thoughtfully furnished, the little features like a socket with a USB port and a hairdryer that can be used anywhere (not attached to a wall), a small lightweight additional table added to the comfort. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. Very pleasant breakfast room, tasty breakfast and very friendly hosts.

Very nice house and nice decorated room. Clean and comfy. In quiet neighborhood, took about 15 min to walk to shops/ restaurants. The owners was super too!

Everything we needed.

We only stayed one night but the owners/staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were spotless and well presented and the breakfast offered the usual wide ranging assortment. The dining room is a fabulous place to eat and the meal set us up very well for the day. All in all, our stay was exactly what we were looking for and the four of us agreed it was excellent.

Perfect for visiting bikers

Great place to stay. Good location close to town but not so close that you'd get bothered by the busy nightlife if that's not your thing. Rooms were comfy and had everything you would need. Breakfast was great and being able to preorder it was a nice touch. If I'm ever in Torquay again, I'd book here again.

Two night stay on the way to Cornwall.

We stayed 2 nights to break our journey and the B&B is centrally located so you don't have to use your car which is great. Our room was lovely and clean, freshly decorated and the owners of this establishment are clearly going to great lengths to update the whole place. It has a lovely garden for relaxing after a busy day. The only reason I gave it 4 for the facilities/condition rating is because the entrance hall hasn't been renovated yet and that gives you your first impression.

I loved this hotel,made to feel at home the moment you walked through the door. Room very clean and comfortable.I Liked the way you were in control of your own electric heaters. It was Easter when I stayed and had a chocolate Easter Bunny put on my pillow and chocolate eggs on breakfast table next morning,nice touch I thought. Going back in June. Excellent Hotel.

Excellent service although room a tad small but for a solo traveller to just sleep if your out during the day/ evening it is great.
