"Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. "

"Fabulous little hotel within perfect walking distance to the harbour/marina. Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Great breakfast in the morning, the local bacon and sausages were DELICIOUS!! Spacious free car park too. Really pleased we found this place, believe all the reviews! "Staff were all really nice, especially Ava our waitress. She went above and beyond. However there were a couple of waiters who did disappoint us. One forgot to put our breakfast order through, although he did apologise to us. The other one just seemed to ignore us and I had to go and ask at reception for a menu. Reception staff were all very friendly and polite. Overall would definitely go back there again "

"When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality."

"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"Adult only hotel .parking was ok .The room was clean but standard for the price . Had robes and slippers, bottle of water and tea making facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very polite throughout the hotel Higher management in the bar should be more active if mistakes are made and not wait for a complaint to be made. The spa was really lovely, but had just too many people and we had to sit on the floor with drinks , which wasn’t relaxing.Needs a bigger sitting area or even...

"The owners were incredibly lovely and helpful, great for a chat over breakfast and any time we crossed paths. They had ideas and suggestions of where to go and what to do and very much gave a homely feeling to our stay. The breakfast was delicious. They made a full English breakfast both days to order whilst also having a selection of different cereals, fruits and pastries. They had tea, coffee and juice all available and were incredibly dedicated to making the stay as great as possible. The...

"Lovely flat with a cracking view But...... Internet was lousy which meant the nice smart TV was unusable. Tried getting hold of the management but emails didn't get answered and telephone call centre was a contect centre who couldn't really help and promised a call back which didn't happen. "

"The room was small, but I did book a cosy double as only for one night. Bathroom was dated but clean. Main problem was that the room was incredibly noisy. It was overlooking the main road and also some kind of banging (heating unit?) continued throughout the night. It was ok."
