"Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

After a nightmare experience at another nearby property that we left early, arriving here felt instantly warm, welcoming, and genuinely comforting — even without a traditional reception or on-site staff. The self check-in was seamless, and we loved the charm of the individually named rooms. The cozy sitting room was perfect for relaxing, and the location is excellent: directly across from the ScotRail station and a short walk to High Street...

"Second stay at the Cairn, and it's all around delightful. The food is excellent, the decoration, and you have the village pub right under the same roof! We had a blast at the Friday evening live music and enjoyed exploring around the area. Can't wait to go back."
