Property is good and safe. Couple who operates it is wonderful. Gracious and helpful but you have to engage them in discussions. Place is quiet Only 2 drawbacks - room is a little small for two people over 5'11 inches and bunk bed creeks creeks as you lie down

A Home Away From Home!
This delightful family will do whatever necessary to make sure you are content. The property has a beautiful, relaxing landscape. Our house was clean and comfortable, the service was friendly and reliable, and breakfast was excellent! We were well taken care of! If you do not have a car and do not want to ride the bus, there is transportation available and, from our experience, much cheaper than a taxi. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at Little Italy on three separate occasions and enjoyed it each time. Lovely, quiet, safe spot with a wonderful family. If we are ever back this way again we will definitely return!

You Get What You Pay For.
Easy to find, hosts were pleasan, and breakfast was good. The neighbor was burning trash and the smoke came in through the air conditioning. Also during our 12 hours there, the electricity went off 3 times. One of the times the electricity went off was in the middle of the night; and when the electricity came on the air conditioning did not come on so we woke up hot and sweaty. Also the cutlery in the kitchen needs upgrading.

A little piece of Italy in Panama
This what I consider to be a great find!!! Friendly & service was fantastic 😃 Safe, clean & accommodating WOW so comfortable the pillows & mattress. I was a wreck after driving all day & fell right to sleep through the night after my amazing shower.

Wonderful place to stay. Felt safe and secure in a family atmosphere. The grounds were so well maintained, so pleasant to spend time outside. The apartment was immaculate. The hosts were gracias and very helpful. Food was excellent.

I was not allowed into Panama because the office staff did not email or what’s app my reservation which I needed to enter Panama... I called and spoke to ( did not ask their name) I politely explained ( I am fluent in Spanish) that I really needed this forwarded as soon as possible because I was wait at the border and it closes at 5 .... well I waited till it closed-, 5 hours later! It seems like the establishment had closed for the rest of the day.. no phone calls picked up after my first contact... so I would say very very very poor,,,, and of course no credit no refund policy. I am posting on every travel sight I can . Ended up costing me hundreds of dollars wasted. No bono

We were at Little Italy for 4 days with our 2 kids and it we had a great time. The pool was a magnet and at it is close to David, it was easy to do some appointments in the close city. Eric and Jessy are great hosts!

The best place to rest, very clean, friendly staff, cozy rooms, delicius breakfast! I recommend it instead of any hotel in David City, Panamá!

OK place to stay.
The first night we were there the power went off at 6:00 Pm and did not come on until midnight. We were not offered a flash light or candles or anything. The air conditioning was not working so it got very hot in the room. Although there was food available we were not offered anything that night, I assume because of no power.First day, not impressive. The next two days were OK but when we went to check out they told us they only took cash. We had reserved the room with a credit card and there were no notices on the web site or at the house that would lead us to believe they only took cash. We had to drive for miles to find a bank and then go back to the house on the morning of our departure, which put us behind our schedule. Not a very good way to do business

A long way from David
If you were just coming from Costa Rica and it was late, this would probably be a OK stay. But if you are closer to David, I would recommend somewhere else. Eric speaks English fairly well. The rest of the family speaks Spanish and Italian. Mom can cook supper for you, and you will need her to, as there isn't anything close. Breakfast wasn't bad. Be warned, however. You may book through Expedia and guarantee your reservation with a credit card, but when you arrive, they only accept cash as payment. I see in the fine print that this is the case, but I missed it when booking and it caught me by surprise when I arrived.

An experience worth repeating.
This hotel is like an oasis in a desert. For people who want to be close to the Coasta Rica border and duty free zone, or if you want to take 45 minutes to be in the mountains of Volcan,Boquette, or if you want to walk on a beach of the Paciific Ocean within half hour, this secure and friendly local is for you. Our hosts were ever ready to answer any questions that we posed to them relating to Panamá customs,directions, or attractions. The environment provides serenity and rejuvenation through a well manicured green space and a refreshing swimming pool. But within 20 minutes by car you can be in the central part of the metropolis of David. There you can shop and find all the amenities of one Panama's top three largest cities.

Higher experience than expected.
Due the price and location, I was not expecting a such service and hotel, but I was really surprised with the quality of the rooms and staff. definitely I would recommend to consider this hotel. very price convenience and service.

Beautiful room and staff
Only difficulty was in finding the B&B. Driver hunted for two hours.The staff were patient when I arrived got me into the room and said I could check in in the morning.

Beautiful garden view.
My husband and I were checking out the area as a possible home in the future. Little Italy was a welcome oasis after exploring the Boqueron area during our 5 day stay. It was so nice to have the use of the washing machine and clothesline. Fresh tropical fruits was always included with breakfast. Usually peaceful except for the neighborhood roosters and the nagging lady next door.
