The owners are lovely and helpful in person and replied to our messages very quickly before we came. The accommodation is very clean and really cosy, dog friendly being a plus. Will definitely visit again this summer."

"Excellent stay in a comfortable room with many useful facilities such as tea and coffee, including a nespresso machine, an Echo Dot, a good shower and a comfortable bed. Gary and Jamie were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on where to visit and where to eat. Will stay there again."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us by making take away breakfast boxes because we had to leave early. Typical pub/inn with typical pub food. Under new management, so they were adjusting. The location was perfect, right in town and we got there early enough to get parking on site. "

We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort. "Beautiful building, nice large room, super comfortable mattress, duvet and pillows. Lovely little touches like earplugs (yes the church clock chimes through the night, I didn’t hear it but my husband did), make up remover pads and shower caps. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Super friendly people, and the communal fridge under the stairs with milk and juices to help yourself to is a really thoughtful addition. "

"Really nice stay for a “rest and recharge” getaway. The shepherds hut was exactly as the pictures - clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners had a folder with all the useful information we would need during our stay (how to use the hot tub, location for waste and recycling bins, nearby public footpaths etc). A nice secluded area from the rest of the property to allow for privacy. I would definitely recommend and consider again for a couple’s holiday. "
