"The staff was not friendly at all upon check in. They were also not helpful when we were needing food options. At breakfast my family of 4 waited 20 minutes and never received a server, even after a water attendant if we could get one. We then decided to stand in the coffee shop line and waited there another 20 minutes to decide to leave the line and go somewhere off property. The room was standard and mediocre. The only perk to staying there in my opinion is the balcony view, but even the proximity to the swimming beach was much further than we anticipated. We thought it would be a short walk away not a short drive away. This stay was our least favorite on our week long road trip. "

"Overall the stay was good. The free breakfast was nice and the pool/hottub was enjoyable. When I got into my room, though, I found a few things from the last guest that made me question if the room had actually been cleaned. And, it should be noted that if you want a view of the red rocks behind the hotel instead of a view of the road, you have to book a double queen room instead of a king. I asked for a view but they told me that wasn't possible with a king bed and that they couldn't change my reservation because i booked through hotels.com so that kind of sucked. "
