"Very convenient location. It's a walking distance to the train station,mall,restaurant, and stores. Our room was clean. Staff are nice. Breakfast was okay. Happy with our 1 night stay!"

"Due to hot weather I asked if we could move to a lower floor room for our 2nd night ( they had provide 1 fan that was already in the room and 2nd one which I asked for but room was like an oven ..) "This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend."

"One of the most beautiful building and gardens. It felt like being at a national trust, not just a hotel because the grounds are so well thought out and looked after. Outfoor Pool area is gorgeous but some bits need a bit of an extra clean or facelift- the rim around the pool had gone green and some features looked slightly dated or cluttered. "Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"The breakfast was excellent, there was a little confusion with finding parking outside of Wellington Lodge, parking was limited, it was hampered my another hotel resident and thier bad parking. My room in Wellington was comfortable no problems. Staff i met were welcoming and professional."

"This is a very old Inn with oak beams and uneven floors. The facilities were good however the room was unbearably hot. Even though we had 2 fans on we were just covered in sweat as soon as we came out of the shower. It was impossible to sleep."
