"What a gem of a hotel with plenty of character. This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! Glastonbury is a wonderful spiritual place with a great vibe. Pubs close early evening for food orders but we visited an amazing...

"Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear."

"Staff were generally friendly. The room was very dated - it looked tired and rather grubby. We were alarmed to see extension cables and exposed electrical wiring. The bed clothes were old & not inviting. There was no enclosed shower. The bathroom looked to be from the 70’s/80’s. The TV in the room had an alarm feature which unbeknown to us had been programmed to go off at 5.30am and 7.30 am - this was not appreciated! The cooled breakfast was good."

We needed a base to visit other Somerset places and the like, and chose it for convenience and its proximity to motorway and cross-country routes and its excellent over-night parking, for which it was very good. No room clean, towel change or bed made, not the end of the world, but at these prices 100% expected, doors all slam in the property asthere are no door weights to hold any doors, the web site made it look like you had your own hot tub, you do not at all, its shared with all other guests! "From a friendly check in, to an amazing pub dinner, we were meeting friends who live in Martock and they recommended White Hart, we had dinner in the pub and by far our fave meal of our entire trip in Uk, the dessert was even fantastic - do not remove that sticky toffee pudding - still dreaming on it, room was comfortable and did us for the night. "Absolutely wonderful holiday retreat. Property was so much more than I imagined, even a coffee pod machine with pods, and many other added extras. A home from home. So spacious and was just so peaceful. Loved waking to the sound of the horses, cows, sheep etc. Welcome goodies were so appreciated. 5* accommodation, so clean and well presented. Had no issues so didn’t contact the owners. Would most definitely stay again if I was in the area. Highly recommended"
