"We stayed in a family room with our dog. There was a welcome pack for the dog including a toy, treats and poo bags. They also provided bowls, towel and a bed. (Saved us getting the dog bed out of the car) We still used our dogs bowl as she's a miniature. We had dinner in the bar I had mains cesear salad, which was amazing with anchovies in as well as being a really generous portions. "Stunning grounds and setting, excellent food and presentation, simply the best service from staff who went above and beyond. Only downside was I couldn't pay by Amex, the first hotel I've stayed in that doesn't accept it."

"We were visiting family in Lifton ,Launceston and the surrounding area and had not visited this guest house before,but will certainly go back again. The house is spotless and beautifully maintained and breakfast is straight forward and well presented a great way to start the day. The host's are lovely people,what more can I say."

"I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! "Came here with my sister just to have a catch-up. Crooked Inn is in a beautiful quiet location. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room and grounds are well maintained. Food was good. We both had a lovely stay and definitely recommend. "

"The pool was lovely some tiles need work. Room looked new lovely and clean. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choices. Staff were all really nice, friendly and approachable. Lovely night would definitely stay again."
