"The hotel was conveniently located for the Zuid Midi train station but approximately a 25 minute walk to the main areas around the Grand Place. The surrounding area also felt a little unsafe. Room was small but comfortable enough for a short stay. Breakfast area is too small for the number of rooms and was nowhere to sit. The tables are crammed together so some seating cannot be accessed due to people sitting in adjacent seats. The breakfast itself was average with little choice and only 3 hot items, one of which was bacon which was undercooked in places and swimming in grease whilst only being lukewarm. Only one operational coffee machine with long queues. Overall the hotel serves the purpose as a clean, comfortable base for Brussels but the negatives outweighed the pluses."
