"I’ll start with the good… The breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in our stay. I could smell smoke in my room, even though it was smoke from outside. The bathtub looked dirty. And the TV didn’t work. When I brought it up, he tried to tell me how to fix it, but that did not work. When I went down again, they basically shrugged their shoulders, and I was forced to try to fix it myself. Two other people were also complaining about the TV. The fitness center was just a treadmill and a multiple workout station. Unfortunately the workout station had a broken cable with no signs saying not to use it. This could’ve easily been a hazard, waiting to happen. Also, I reserved my room weeks ago and when I tried to check in, they could not find my room and told me they weren’t sure they had one. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and check-in took almost 15 minutes. I have stayed at La Quinta Inn before, but I will not stay at this one ever again"

"Location is good with tons of dining selections within walking distance. The room felt clean. Our room was old so smelled a little musty. A LOT of damage with patches (doors, walls, counter tops.). There were carpet stains, bent lamps, etc. The door would not close or lock properly and had big gaps. Looked like both the entry door & bathroom doors had been kicked in and repaired poorly. Ammenities were sparce with only a small bar of soap; no coffee maker; no blow dryer or iron; no shower curtain; and limited towels (not enough for two people to shower). Check in took a VERY long time. We did not use the pool, but it just looked dirtry. Other people were using it. Didn't go for breakfast umtil 8:30 am, but at that time there was only cheerios, a few pieces of bread for toast, cooked oatmeal that was dried out (nothing to put on it), milk, dilluted juice of some kind, and batter to make waffles w/some syrup only to put on it. There was nothing in the form of bagels, rolls, muffins, yogurt, eggs, fruit, etc. Unsure of the coffee. When asked for some towels, the clerk was rude and said we should have taken the time to inspect the room when we arrived. I didn't know that was an expectation. There was no spa or gym that we found."
