"Hotel is in a perfect canal side location convenient to the Nine Streets shopping area. The common areas are spacious and welcoming. The restaurant was a lovely space by the interior courtyard garden and the breakfasts were fantastic. The rooms are large enough (by European standards) with a very eclectic layout and decor. If you like design, you will really like the aesthetic of the hotel. And the staff was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Overall a great experience. "

"Awesome location and beautiful decor. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was that the room was smaller than expected and didn’t have a ton of hangers, or areas to hang clothes for both my partner and I. There was no closet… just a couple hooks on a decorative divider. "

"The hotel had a beautiful jazzy feel! Very chic! The staff was amazing!!! Shout outs to Linda, Fatima, Omyma and Kevin! They were friendly and always ready to help! The hotel was also in a great location! It was a 10-15 minute walk to major attractions with lovely cafes and restaurants around it. Will definitely return to this hotel and this beautiful city!!"

"I originally booked this hotel due to the location and price. Both of which were great! But what quickly became my favorite part of this hotel is the people that work there. "I upgraded to a larger room and it was extremely spacious with a king size bed, sofa, and two comfortable leather chairs. The room was extremely quiet. The hotel itself is on a quiet street off of a main boulevard so it is convenient to getting anywhere in Old Town but you feel like you’re not in the middle of traffic and lots of people. The restaurant provided an outstanding breakfast. Service was excellent all around. Highly recommended."

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."

"We stayed in The Brewer room, which had part of an actual original brewery—such a unique and fun touch! The hotel is in an amazing part of Amsterdam, full of charm and character. We had to leave before breakfast, so the staff went above and beyond by packing us a delicious breakfast to-go and delivering it to our room the night before. Their thoughtfulness really made our stay extra special. Out of our entire Amsterdam/Paris vacation, this was by far our favorite place to stay!"
