"I needed a quiet space to escape to for Memorial Day away from all the hustle and bustle of sales and celebrations, and this place definitely delivered. My wife and I have visited the past two years and plan to make it a yearly destination."

"This was our second stay; we visited last summer and it appears a lot of changes have taken place. Seems they have implemented more rigid rules but it’s not a bad thing such as the bands for the pool. The girl at check in was very friendly, the groundskeeper guy not so much. Expedia only had cabins with no bathrooms available for my stay but it seemed like when I arrived there were plenty of empty cabins and I was tempted to ask about upgrading but decided to make an attempt at glamping. I was actually battling a sinus infection, so cabin with full amenities would have been nice. When I arrived, the bathhouse had some trash scattered everywhere so I made it a point to throw away anything that was in my way but overall for what it is, it was fairly clean. The pool was nice and cold. There was one free outlet available in the cabin - just in case anyone needs to know. A very small 1.9 cu mini fridge, no tv and no microwave so it is a very disconnected experience especially since the connectivity is limited out there. It’s also not a bad thing; just something to be prepared for. Overall, the property is in a beautiful place, so we will plan to come back hopefully when there are more options available to us."
"I like the entire ambience of this property., The owners and the maintenance crew were very pleasant, friendly and marvelous people. I enjoyed the dear and all the scenery of the property. The cabin was very clean and quiet. The location was perfect to travel into Fredericksburg Tx. I turned it into a mini quick 4th of July celebration. Definitely do recommend."
"Fun glamping experience. The only complaint was figuring out the heating/cooling system was a bit difficult, but eventually figured it out. Staff was friendly. Amenities were very well kept although we did not use them during our stay."
"Upon arrival the front desk guy was super friendly and helpful. With no delay I was in my room which was beyond clean!!! And very spacious I may add!!!
I go on these “for the fun of it” trips often and this was by far the easiest concerning the TV. They had a poster guide in the room and the TV and remote made it so simple to look up shows.
I am very satisfied with this hotel and will be back!!!!"
"This is an OLD hotel that screams “built in the 70’s or early 80’s”! However, that being said the property is clean and taken care of.
What we would suggest is cutting back the hedges to some of the entrances so that you can see where you’re going. Our shower curtain should have been at least 6” longer to keep the water inside the tub.
Another suggestion? Mount Shampoo, Conditioner & Body Gel dispensers in the tub/shower. Gone are the days of “mini-shampoo bottles”.
With a little bit of TLC, money and imagination this could definitely be a “go to” spot for lots of families as well as businesses.
Still a nice place to stay for the money! Thanks!"
"Very private! Loved having our own individual hot tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Room was sparsely furnished, could have used another luggage stand to prevent having to put bags on the floor. Closet/storage was a little tight also.
Loved the unique setting and close proximity to Main Street."
"Mary’s Mansion was the perfect place for a fun weekend! It’s private with a beautiful view from the back porch. Only 15 minutes from Fredricksburg’s Main Street to eat and shop. We had less than 30 minutes drive to Luckenbach for a concert."
