"Wonderful and highly recommendable place in Tuscany within reasonable distance of key Tuscan cities and attractions. As Tuscan as it can be, with traditional Tuscan buildings in a very nice garden with a nice pool and a wonderful view. Be aware though that the property consist of two houses with approx. 250 meters apart. Both very nice, but for a family with kids who love staying at the swimming pool, it was better for us to stay in the main building with the swimming pool and the restaurant....

"I want to be sure to call out the place that mom and I stayed during our trip to Tuscany. This was the perfect base for us to stay. They have a restaurant on site and breakfast was included. "Our stay at Hotel Certaldo could not have been better. The staff were exceptional and enhanced our stay. We loved the breakfast of a wide variety of options & our dinner was amazing. We loved walking to town, rode the funicular for the spectacular view & then returning to our hotel to cool off in the pool. "Beautiful hotel. I didn’t quite understand we’d have to do a “staff-less” check in but once we saw our room keys it was extremely easy. The hotel is beautiful and it is a very peaceful town with amazing Tuscan views. The restaurant seems to be one of the best ones in the area. We went to San Gimignano and didn’t get a chance to dine there. Would definitely stay again. "
