We were surprised to find a vacation rental inside the shuk! Initially it was a little challenging to locate, but once we contacted the property manager she was very helpful. The set up was modest, but clean and provided for all of our needs. And the price was great for the central location. We were walking distance from the beach, great food, shopping and fun Tel Aviv nightlife.

Very near the beach and accessible to public transport. We stayed at apartment 6 and it was bright and spacious. We were out all the time but it was great to return to. The sheets and pillows are soft and conducive to resting. The space also allowed us to work comfortably.

Clean, Convenient, and Accommodating Owner

Hacarmel Market Apartments is located right in the busy and stimulating Carmel Market full of endless food options and fun site seeing. It's also very close and walking distance to the beach front. The owner Lea is extremely accommodating and went out of her way to show us where we could do laundry offsite and even held onto our luggage for us after checkout despite not having a lot of storage space or dedicated luggage area. Amazing hostess! The hotel room was cleaned thoroughly before our arrival and promptly after our checkout.

An absolute nightmare. Be aware when booking this place! I booked for 1 night and the hotel contacted me and told me that there’s a 2 night minimum and I have to pay an extra $130 if I wanna stay there. It doesn’t say anywhere that there’s a 2 night minimum and it was just a very creepy and dishonest way to charge me more. I refused to pay and was with outside the hotel with my luggage in a very dirty and busy market on Friday afternoon looking for another place. The hotel said it would refund me but stopped answering my messages, and thanks to an excellent job by the Expedia Premium team I finally got a refund. There is war in the country and almost no tourists, so treating the few tourists who have decided to come to the country despite everything like that is very unwelcoming and rude. Very dishonest and absolutely not recommended!
