"We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty. Fortunately, the hotel was on the same road, so it was easy to see after driving further. Once there, the check in was easy and the hotel was very quiet. "Parking was very easy with plenty right outside the front door! Only complaint is bar closed early due to being slow (understandable) and was unable to have a drink after 8pm. Excellent staff!"

I took a little carriage ride across the street through the park, saw the Muckross house, saw some old buildings, had some great strolls, and had fun at the spa as well.
