Leonardo Smart Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. The hotel was close to Alexandra Place and so was very easy to go to everywhere."

Premier Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location for a no frills but perfectly comfortable and reasonable hotel. Breakfast was excellent. As for issues surrounding cleaning, just notify reception that you need the room cleaned and they will sort it out. No problems. We really liked the half price drinks during happy hour (17:00-19:00). We slept well here and would happily stay here again in future."

Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz

10/10 Excellent

"You honestly cannot beat this location right next alexanderplatz! This hotel was clean, very safe, and the best was location. Train and rail station was next door. At night you walk out the door and there is immediately the square where you find lots of restaurants, food, street performers and live music. People sit down and walk around the square. Our room was very clean and had beautiful views of the city. Hotel restaurant and breakfast was definitely worth it! Great food. I would most definitely stay here again anytime"

ibis Berlin Mitte

8/10 Good

"Pros •Lovely location! Very convenient and very classy though there are no restaurants nearby. This is not a problem though as you can walk a or take a tram to Alexander Platz easily. •The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are small but VERY ergonomic. The only problem there is the water temperature fluctuates. •The desk is ~5 feet x 20" which is excellent especially for such a small room! •The view is superb. Especially from the breakfast restaurant which is really nice and bright too! •The staff are 99% very helpful and courteous. ONE individual was unpleasant which was not fair on everyone else. •The rooms are clean. Cons •Breakfast is not up to 3* standards. •The Bed is hard and the "Duvet" (if you even call it that) is thin. •There is only one working elevator. •There is no phone in the room. So no wake up call is possible. 3 star should have a phone. •There is no minibar / fridge, in the room so is it really 3 star? Or does it barely meet the requirements? •There is no cafe. •Soft drinks downstairs are expensive so buy that elsewhere. •I was there 5 nights and my sheets were not changed even once. I bathe twice a day so not a big deal but that is not the point. •There is no comfortable lounge chair. Just the plastic desk chair. •Lighting and lighting systems are not up to the mark. •The key card is not necessary for the elevator. Bottom line, it is a budget hotel claiming 3 stars and definitely falls short of that rating. The location however is really excellent."
