"Very Grand. Rooms extra large. Clean comfortable. They have robes and slippers! Get a room with a balcony looking over the city. Did not have any meals due to high cost. Good hiking behind the hotel. Shuttles to the MRT.
Only complaint is lack of bath supplies like there was hand soap but no hand lotion.
This is a must stay for the ambiance in Taipei!"
"Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it's nice that the hotel has several restaurants on site. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Love that there's a laundromat within 2 mins walk. We were able to do laundry a couple times while we were there which made things so much easier when you are traveling for a long time!
I was surprised to be charged for a phone call I made to another hotel (different city but in Taiwan still) with $720 NTD (about $24 USD) for maybe 10 mins while figuring out our next stay. It just seems way too expansive for a phone call within the same country.
Other than that, I don't have any complaints. Will definitely stay again in the future (just won't use the phone, lol)."
