"Great location right on Taksim square with easy access to the metro, funicular, historic tram.
Hotel main areas are clean and spacious
Hotel staff service is excellent
Rooms are well equipped. Bosphorus view rooms had an amazing view.
Good variety at breakfast "

"The property is located in a side street away from the Taksim or Istiklal commotion. It is spotless clean and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. My housekeeper, Cahide, was wonderful; kind enough to fold all my clothes every day and restock. This is my second year staying at this hotel and I highly recommend it."

"A very big thank you again to Sofitel. An absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. Thank you to Aye for excellent housekeeping. "Great hotel just two minutes from taksim square. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cleaning.
Now to the negatives. The street it's located on has a lot of trans prostitutes especially on evenings but that isn't the hotels fault.
And the breakfast wasn't very good either.
Overall a great place. "

"Das Hotel war sehr schön und ruhig, alles war sauber und das Frühstück gut. Besonders praktisch fand ich die Parkmöglichkeit und die perfekte Lage direkt im Zentrum am Taksim Meydanı. Ideal für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Istanbul."

"I like that the Hotel is on the center of touristic attraction, I like the roof top with big view of city, it’s clean, staff is friendly
The only odds is that room is very small for an American Citizen as we are used to spacious rooms, it is kind of squeezed"

There are taxis available and also hava bus(airport buses) which has a stop just 10 minutes walk away from hotel. Hotel guys informed us about all this and it was really very helpful to take domestic flights for us to cappadocia.
