"Excellent convenient location immediately adjacent to the train and bus stations but not noisy. And walkable easily to the tourist area sites.
The facilities themselves are great, from the spacious rooms, onsens, provided kimono and sandals for the onsens and property, and the staff excellent. Also appreciated the afternoon welcome drink service.
Would highly recommend for a stay in Takayama. "

Hida Takayama Onsen Takayama Green Hotel (KEIO GROUP HOTELS)
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very nice resort hotel. They have quite attentive staff and lots of amenities. The 4 person room was large enough for the three of us to spread out our three very comfy futon beds. Plus there were proper chairs and a small table by the windows. It also had a fridge and water kettle. The hotel has two onsens, one open to the public. The one for hotel guests is in the basement and has items for free whereas the public one on the main floor charges for items like a hairbrushes. There’s a huge souvenir shop and several restaurants. If you go over a holiday book ahead. We were there the night before Culture Day (November 3) and every one was booked up. Fortunately there’s a 7/11 across the street as the local restaurants were closed. The only con was the massage. They are done in the entrance to the public onsen with no separation like a screen or curtains. So it’s quite noisy. The massage itself was just okay. Still nice after a long day of travel, but a soak in the onsen was just as effective. "
"Staff was spectacular, I'm so sorry they have to deal with less than delightful guests on what seems like a regular basis. We greatly appreciate you and enjoyed our gift of champagne.
Area is very walkable, bed is on the softer side of Japans hotel beds. Our room was big enough and it was one of the smaller ones. There is a smoking room by the elevator that opens frequently so there is some cigarette smell when you go to the lobby. I do wish there was some food options though, Takayama restaurants close pretty early in the vicinity and it would be stellar if there was more available at the hotel. Breakfast options were great, maybe add a dinner too?"
"One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff is so nice and helpful and the rooms are great.
Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Takayama!"
"clean room ...very well stocked hotel coffee an water always available ...easy parking... staff very helpful . this was one of 9 hotels we stayed in and was our favorite all around "
"We had a wonderful stay! The property is in a fantastic location, just a 2 minute walk from Takayama Station. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a great bathtub. Free breakfast had great options.
The only downside was that there’s no lift from the ground level up to reception, which might be tricky if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent."
