Nice traditional inn

Good location. Comfortable traditional Japanese beds. Little table in room and small clothes hanging area along with own sink. Shared bathroom was OK, no issues with queuing for the shower or toilet. There was a separate toilet for male/female. No outdoor shoes throughout the property, but slippers are provided. Shared lounge is spacious and had tea and coffee available throughout the day. Kitchen small but with a range of things to use if you wished to cook in. Big fridge for sharing, just write room number on your items. Knives were stick to magnetic strip on one of cupboard door (I missed that initially so used a normal knife to bluntly cut my apple). Easy walk to the main attractions and station. Lots of food options. The owner will provide you with a map with some reccomended food options. The restaurant next door is excellent, we wanted to go again, but it was closed on Sunday.

住宿經驗非常美好，單人日式的榻榻米房間，鋪上風味十足的被褥（而且非常舒服，贏過連鎖飯店的彈簧床），令人想賴在房間裡。 即使是共用衛浴，也非常乾淨整潔，空間也非常足夠。 但如是持大件行李的旅客，要留意飯店是日式建築無電梯，但check in時老闆有協助搬行李至房間。 總而言之對於這次住宿經驗非常滿意！

A delightful little inn!

This is a delightful little inn. The staff are welcoming, efficient and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Our Japanese style room was comfortable, even large by Japanese standards. There is also a beautiful lounge for guests to use. Breakfast was great and is very reasonably priced. We would certainly stay here again if we were back in Takayama.

over rated and disappointed

my room 301 is next to man and lady toilet, people does not know to flush toilet . smell bad , and night time people use toilet make a lot of noise, I ask hotel staff to change ,but they did not respond. hotel is overrated and overpriced .

Great location

This was a very clean, but basic, accommodation. The location was excellent, and the mats in the Japanese room were much more comfortable than others we have stayed on elsewhere.

Like the inn and room we stay. Clean, tidy and the room is big. The property is near the old street and nearby have a lot of restaurants to choose and the food are tasty. The Inn allow us to keep our baggage overnight. This is much more appropriated because it make us easy to transit to Shinhotaka ropeway then overnight at Hirayu. We will stay here again if there is a chance to visit Takayama.

A bit of Japanese style.

Very comfortable beds Japanese style, tatami floors were a nice touch. Helpful and friendly staff make staying here an enjoyable experience. Close to everything.

다카야마 릭샤인-하루 머물 정도

료칸 같은 느낌을 기대했다면 아닐수 있어요. 조립식 가건물 같은 분위기라 꽤 춥고 난로로 난방해서 무척 건조해요. 주인장은 매우 친절하세요. 위치는 중요지역을 걸어다니기 좋은 위치이지만 역에서는 거리가 좀 있어요. 분위기나 시설에 비해선 비싼 편이에요. 3층건물인데 엘리베이터 없어요. 짐이 무겁다면 맨발로 짐들고 삼층 올라가실 각오하셔야 해요

Parfait pour un court séjour à Takayama

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Takayama et proche de la gare à pied. En revanche attention si vous rentrez après minuit, l'accès se fait par l'arrière de l'hôtel à l'aide d'un code!
